Played both No Remorse and No Regret when I was in College back in 1995. We need a sequel please.

I remember seeing a trailer for this game as a kid and being so excited to play it. One of the few games that ever lived up to my expectations. Nearly 20 years later, I still have yet to find a game that compares to this masterpiece. Don't know if it's just nostalgia or what, but modern games seem so shitty to me; all style, no substance. And most of the time your enemies are zombies/aliens/monster/demons. This game was so original, in terms of storyline, death sequences, visual perspective, music, etc. Sigh...
@Shinigammi4206668 жыл бұрын
I wish that these games would be just revamped with modern graphics and NOTHING about the game layout, story or anything changed... Just updated and NOTHING MORE!!!! No Remorse and No Regret are still awesome games today

EA has the rights, if they would do it, would be dumbed down, made to appease "concerned parents group" and SJW censors, oh and probably be a free to play game full with microtransactions. Lets keep these masterpieces as they are.

This game has so many classical tones in its music. Classical in immersive and settle ways.

used to put this game on as a kid just to listen to the music while i did chores around the house. To this day, over a decade later, I still catch myself humming/thinking of the tunes randomly.

Did you know they were on track to making a Crusader 3, for PSP and other handhelds I believe. But it was sidetracked and only one track was released. True story.

Intro music is better and harder than the No Remorse version. The two games have a great soundtrack
@jpcorbeil37797 жыл бұрын
I prefer No Regret overall.. I think the whole soundtrack is harder, and the game is more badass than the original
@OSLP6 жыл бұрын
The video sequences were better without a doubt. I still miss the first mission song from No Remorse, but this game had a great soundtrack of its own.

I do not know that much about the difference in formats for the MODs. Would they require rewrites or could they perhaps be remapped by computer algorithm?
@PrekiFromPoland11 жыл бұрын
Possibly, yes. Generic MOD files are limited to 8 channels and have very basic range of effects. Just open MOD and XM files in a tracker and compare them.

1:24:-- to 1:26:-- is christmas music ?????
@PrekiFromPoland11 жыл бұрын
Yeah, but should have been rewritten into newer formats (S3M or IT), that Necros would use in Crusader, but the sound enigne only allowed to play generic MODs.
@djdoubleu110 жыл бұрын
Lol at end song! When did that occur in game? Easter egg or something?
@Matuse10 жыл бұрын
If you play the game around Christmas, the normal soundtrack is replaced with this one. I don't know if you need to be specifically on 12/25, or just in the vicinity. You can change your system clock to force this behavior.
@ponypapa678510 жыл бұрын
Nope. Sorry, that song plays when you type "jassica16" into the game, which activated the cheat mode in Crusader: No remorse. You get a NICE message that they changed the code obviously, and you should enjoy what comes next.
@djdoubleu110 жыл бұрын
Ponypapa indeed, just tried it for the fun of it =)
@Matuse10 жыл бұрын
Ponypapa It may also happen when you enter a cheat code, but I first heard it when playing the game at Christmas time, and did not use any codes at all.
@LobarRobotic7 жыл бұрын
Yeah, it happens on or around Christmas too. I first heard it when I used the Jassica16 cheat, but I played it on a Christmas day one year and it played that tune too.
