I discuss the Clincheck Pro tools and how to optimize customization and predictability using Invisalign. This is a presentation that I gave during the 2018 AACA Conference in Las Vegas. Follow us IG @simplyaligners and @forestfamilydentist to see more before and afters. I plan to answer all questions and give clinical tips via email if you need them.

Wow! Wish I had seen this a while ago. I started Invisalign in 2009 and just as you had described I got frustrated with it because some movements just weren't happening and so I stopped doing any Invisalign. Almost two years ago my dental assistant asked me to get back into it and I was reluctant. She found our rep and she brought him in and got me back into Invisalign. A lot had changed since 2009! But still have been frustrated with the refinements although the scanner makes it so much easier to submit records. I got a new rep just recently and told him how frustrated I was with the Clincheck process and the refinements and he popped your video up on my computer and told me to watch. So glad he did! If you wouldn't mind I would love to have the documents you spoke of. I will email you.

What percentage of cases are you using propel on? Can you please do a video on texas tips for IPR? From one texan to another, great presentation!
@ruggedtgr
@ruggedtgr 5 жыл бұрын
Hey Alex! Thanks for the kind words! I’d love to do a Texas IPR presentation. In 2019, I almost never use propel unless someone asks for it specifically. Bone trauma is helpful, especially when you are trying to grow bone (osteogenesis) or accelerate difficult movements. There are a lot of ways to initiate bone trauma. Piezoelectric techniques (wilkondontics), propel, and other forms of osteoperforation all have worked in my office. That said, most cases just need a well planned and staged clincheck and good compliance.

@@ruggedtgr I was just looking at those yesterday. I'm curious what is your protocol for using them? The videos on their website seem to indicate one munchie only lasts for 2 weeks. Does that mean they need to be changed with each aligner? What do you tell patients for using them and how many do you need for a case?
