Yes!!!! My ex-fiance and his mother had an unusually close relationship. I felt like she treated him like a pseudo-husband. She tried to blame our issues on me going through menopause 😂😂😂 Our problems were because of her. She belittled him constantly and literally would slap his face. I told him that he needed to stand up for himself. It was as if she was taking out frustrations from her old marriage onto him. His dad was a cheater. He died and my fiance became his mother's "husband". He's still there. Living with her and I'm living on my own.
