You inspired me to try Cryo engineer and it is the only build I've really found reliable success with, and its always effective. I made some adjustments myself and try to avoid cryo mastery and just go for high auto-crit through items like Poppy. The upgrade used on Cryo mastery is usually instead spent on fire rate, so the auto-crit chance gets rolled more often

I've been playing this and Gunfire Reborn for a while and I play them the exact same way lol, speed and damage, usually crits now in RQ, and absolutely turtle punch in GR.

I’m also fairly new to the game. I played a little bit of the early release bur after that I didn’t play until after it released. Is cryo really the best elemental buff? Because I personally like shock, but want to hear opinions and straight up facts.

You should try guardian shredder build, you become nigh unkillable when you get the right skills. And the dps is unmatched

Wait you can't get mammoth or typhoon minigun until after the first boss? I remember buying a typhoon minigun in canyon earlier today when I was in the middle of the area. I wanted to try it out since I rarely ever used it and it seemed pretty ok until I found another weapon.

The only reason to kill all the adds in Doom Gardens is if you want an S tier for it. Otherwise, you only have to kill the green fellas and sprint through and you'll make it to the end just fine.

have u tried ziggurat 2? it is also fast paced first person game, it doesnt have guns, it has magic weapons like wands, amulets, staves, spells etc & 12 different characters with unique strengths & weaknesses

I think it would be perfectly reasonable to spend a few wrenches on the new bot. But you'd want to limit yourself to less than what can be earned in a single run. I think that maintaining a neutral flow of wrench income/expenditure is very realistic for most players.

I love your content but i am worried about the lack of lighting in your room. Aren't you afraid you'll damage your eyes quicker that way?

I'm pretty new to the game and just wondering why you carry buddy bot with you through the run but never use it. I only just used it to open the door in oasis.

I have a genuine general question about the game. My 2nd and 3rd runs I beat the first boss but the first stage after the enemies become extremely tanky and hit a ton harder. Is it just the scaling? Is it because I don't have the meta upgrades? I am enjoying the game but immediately dying after the first boss is getting old. Tried going from Hard to Standard and ended up with same result.

I have to say that I disagree with your take about GFR being slow. You definitely can play it slower but it's not an inherent quality of the game, and some builds definitely want to go faster. Most things with Tao want to go fast for instance, and fisting build with Turtle, just to name a couple. Default movement speed is pretty slow, granted.

I dont know if anyone has the answer to this but I am playing on pc threw the xbox app and I am having the infinite session id where I cant play with my friend, I tried restarting the game, My pc, I tried uninstalling and I cant get ot to load my session. This is the only reason At this point I will drop this game. Its happened twice and the 1st time it konda just fixed itself.

It's rather insulting to have Engineer be better than Elementalist when it comes to elemental stuff but then I guess the latter's gimmick is more being good at elements generally. I like Lottery Luke but then I only use him like once per stage, that's like half as much as accessing Max's Chests, resets his cost and doesn't have him overstay his welcome, I have no idea where this "removes power cell management" angle is coming from though, got better luck making a build out of exclusively using Max's Chests than his loot table, especially if you have weapons you haven't mastered because their cards are in there which is my one problem, I really like having to jump between weapons because I want to level them up, build be damned :p

Theres only two things I dislike about Cryo Engie - One, is that the Drones just aren't relevant. I like playing Engie for his Drones, but doing elemental builds helps spice things up. And yet if his Drones aren't there, this build doesn't care, as demonstrated in the video. Kind of sucks that the perks are what matters rather than the class. Second is that builds of other elements just... aren't as good. You can of course make them work, but Cryo just completely overpowers them. There's no reason to pick another element for your perks when Cryo exists

Hey, it's up to you if you want to do lottery stuff or skip it, do whatever's fun or makes for a good video. Regardless of what you do someone will still complain that you're not playing "legit" because you're not exclusively doing fox pistol only 0 gadget runs with no level ups or spending power cells or opening chests or healing. I obsess over things like having my drones active, feels weird to watch but you obviously did fine going (mostly) without them

Personally, I don't like it when Roguelites mix meta currency with run power in either direction. If you can trade run power for meta currency, (like how Hades has reward rooms for meta currency) then the game is encouraging you to have a harder time on your run... to get a currency that's supposed to make your runs easier over time. On the other hand, spending meta currency in a run has the problem that if you don't have enough of the currency to get what you want in the run, it feels like you're not really doing the run right, but if you have so much currency you don't know what to do with it, then those spending opportunities are just free to you as far as the run is concerned. I haven't tried Roboquests' version of this that they added in that patch, but Gunfire's Reincarnation blessings and special shops frequently make me not want to play a reincarnation run because I know I won't have the resources for it. So it then if I want to properly play on the difficulty I actually want, I have to drop down in difficulty just for a meta currency farming run to fund the real run.
