all his references that are "in the grinch's point of view" are most likely relating to his real-life (bullied for different color skin, bullied since high school, etc.)

DAX IS A LEGIT OG. THAT WORD PLAY IS PERFECT. It is about how everyone worships false idols and no one gets the credit they deserve. Unless they sell out or do something drastic . Clear message the innuendos he dropped and metaphoric word play is pretty apparent.
