Mufti sahb the element of gambling is there but when you trade leverage (long or short in both positions), but if you trade spot then it's like a share price might decline but you hold the share and if prices goes up then you'll be in profits. Yes there are concerns and very risky market but if you trade wisely and with risk management then you'll earn without gambling just in spot. Also i think it's a good platform for those who can't get out of there home like women or elders. This is my understanding, may Allah give you long and healthy life

Dear mufti sahib I differ with your point of view. Banks are in competition with crypto why would they support it. Also you said it is used in gambling it is just used as medium others currencies are also used in gambling. Now many countries are thinking to issue cbd which is central bank digital currency. An etf has been issued in usa thus bringing it to main financial system. In banks if it fails you don't get all your money back only upto insured amount is paid back I think in usa limit is 100k. In stock market also there is big variation in price . Actually the whole logic behind crypto is decentralization and banks and governments are afraid because it challenges there monopoly on money.
