This Season Crypto is better than he has even been in Apex Legends. He received a nice quality of life buff and some new perks that make him feel much more dynamic. Another buff/change he received was involved with his drone scans being able to scan enemies through all glass windows on all the maps. Before this, he was only able to scan through SOME windows and not all… even when you think you would be able too. But now, he is actually able to scan properly through all the glass windows. This is huge for crypto and allow you to get unlimited scans on enemies if you position your drone right in the right situation. He also received new perks that complaint his drone scans, so if you pair his perks with this new update to scan through ALL glass windows… you will be able to get unlimited scans on enemies and turn the fight in your advantage!

Another note about learning Drone positioning. It's all trial and error for ALL of us Cryptos. It's okay to introspective and maybe attempt different style of drone positioning but don't beat yourself up too much if your drone keeps getting shot down. If it continues to be a problem maybe consider the 25% range boost till you get the hang of it. Baby Cryptos RISE UP!!!

Yo Crypto main here thank you for telling me network trafficking increases scan range too because I didn't know that. Hopefully this can be something you didn't know, I tested it out and you can actually charge sentinel and tge rampage when going into drone same inputs as healing in drone you just charge your weapon instead. I've used this to rock people with sentinel after getting some clean scans for my team.

Does the crypto emp go through buildings like for example if a team is bunkered down inside a building and I deploy emp outside the building will it take effect on the inside of the building where the enemy team is

Yes, and that’s actually one of the best ways to use it because it’s hard for the enemies to destroy the drone if it’s not in the building with them

Imo they both are pretty solid, it just depends The faster drone is pretty solid too because it allow you to be more evasive and avoid getting your drone destroyed and get drone into position faster to EMP And the other option for increased drone scan and EMP range is great too So really just depends what you want to get out of it. It’s pretty nice that we get two solid options to pick from

I would recommend getting him and learning him and mastering him as much as you can, and then after that just add him into the list of characters you play So you can be a pathfinder, revenant, and crypto main :)

The tech for this requires you to hold the tatical button which will throw and enter drone view but during the time where white stats to show up on the screen you can use a heal, alt accel, and/ir charade a sentinel/rampage you have to not do it as soon as you throw the drone for then you will not go into drone mode nor too late or the item will not activate and if you check the channel he did make a video about the tech

Nah it won’t The devs addressed it back in season 12 when it was a thing and they acknowledged they knew about it, so I doubt they will change it since it’s been a thing for 2-3 years now

@@rad_alien because exploits like that aren’t allowed in professional play. The devs are aware of it (that’s why it’s banned), but they allow it in normal causal play cause it’s not that serious lol

@@rad_alien haha yeah every season I get worried they will get rid of it, but they haven’t yet. It’s been banned for pro play for years now and never banned in normal play. I check every season after updates to see if they got rid of it but they still haven’t I feel like they won’t touch it unless they rework crypto

Can Crypto scan through smoke?

Not that well That’s the one thing that annoys me. If the drone is inside the smoke, you can scan, but if the drone is outside the smoke it won’t be able to scan that well consistently. Sometimes you’ll be able to get a quick scan, but it won’t scan the enemy the entire time they are in the smoke
