I was in middle school when I listened to crystal castles and this album came out. I remember thinking Alice was so rad and I definitely wanted to be a cool girl like her when I was older haha. Instead I just got depression

I met this girl back in 2018, she introduced me to Crystal Castles music, up until that point I had only listened to them in the alice practice episode of Skins. Everything was ruined with her, she disappeared from my life during the pandemic and we were away for many years. We got back together in 2021 but we broke up recently, even if I never see her again, this songs will always remind me our time together.

Dang bruhhh. Ngl this sounds like something I went thru wit sum female not so long ago. We started talking late Nov for a couple weeks, then we began dating after that fuck she made me happy. I’ve never really fw cc like that but she did and I always tried gettin into sum stuff she was into that were different from mine so one day she gives me her playlist nd I play it when I’m all high asfk and cc starts playing, istg I never felt such a feeling. It was like finding happiness in sadness. Anyways, I started exploring their other albums a lil after. Sadly it ended between us bc of my dumbass self sabotaging. I remember telling her I wanted her and I to dance together ina dark room while cc is playing. Now everytime I listen to cc I can’t help but think of her or think bout wt coulda been between us even tho there’s no point.

Worked at this liquidation outlet a while back and the bitch of a manager (the only thing good about her was her taste in music) would play this song on speakers (not intercoms) and I just loved this one. I'd always chuckle at that squeaking noise. Despite that horrible place I actually loved working there because of my coworkers and the customers (shocker). They and the music made my days there.

Damn first time I heard this was when she opened for Marilyn Manson in 2017 NYC on a cold night in the Fall..such an awesome concert but this song brings out a sad feeling cause it takes me back to the dark place I was in at the time :/
