Ryo was great, but I feel John is an amazing fit. I think they're going to release some monster tracks in the future.

I was so worried after Ryo left. Crystal Lake was my favorite band in large part because of Ryo (who still is my favorite vocalist). With that being said, I am very excited for their future. John has the voice, technique, and cadence to do Justice to Ryo’s parts and not sound out of place in their old songs, but not sound like just a copy of him and putting his own stamp on their new sound

Funny story but crystal lake already featured a former vocalist (Kentaro Nishimura) in their rerecorded album back in 2020 when Ryo was still here on the track "The Passage (Rerecorded)"

john is a good fit, but in my opinion ryo is the best and special of the 3 vocalists they have ever had
