Crystal River, Florida

After our visit to the Florida Flywheelers show we made out way to the beautiful Crystal River Florida area and stayed at the Crystal Isle RV Resort. This resort has a very nice pool area to enjoy and they offer two pontoon boats you can rent and take out into the river or up to the springs. We reserved the boat for one of our days there and I'll have a separate video of that adventure. It's located about 10 minutes from the downtown area and they after a lot of great restaurants to enjoy, some of them located right on Kings Bay so you can even get to them by boat.
There's so much to offer anyone who enjoys the outdoors in this area. Boating, fishing, kayaking, swimming, snorkeling, biking, hiking and even a beach for the sun seekers. We enjoyed our visit here and would like to come back to see many of the spots we missed.

Great times. St John Tavern = "Edison Light Bulbs". Hard to pass up a great beef slab cooked on charcoal.

Adam you got the technology. That hanging light fixture that Abby loved, you can make one on your lathe. Seem like you study a little on that whole metal spinning thing and you could make her a beautiful copper light fixture.

Crystal River is so cool! Amazingly clear water, manatee's and alligators along the way. Taking a dip is 'officially' prohibited but refreshing!

Adam, I want to thank you for recommending Farm Fresh Meats in Robertsdale AL. We spent the last month in Gulf Shores and made many trips there, and was very pleased with everything we tried. I really enjoy your camping and machining videos and look forward to meeting you and Abbey one day. Keep up the good work and enjoy your travels.

Got the chance to snorkel at Rainbow Springs down there and swim with some manatees in the Crystal River. Truly beautiful areas

Thanks for another adventure! My in-laws are from Hernando, not too far away, so we’ve spent some time there. Totally agree, it’s a beautiful little area of Florida that not many people have experienced.

Welcome to my little neighborhood, plenty of things to do and see. You can’t take it all in in a weekend. You picked a perfect time of year to visit. Hope you could do a meet and greet when you come back in the summer. And yes “The Butcher Shoppe” is a must shop at every time I am in P’Cola.

4:21 Or also get some Mahi-Mahi just for the Halibut. I could just carp on, but you would soon tuna me out. I'll get off of my perch and start being a little more koi.
