Her mom stands there because a lot of times when she sings someone runs up to her... Her mom stands to prevent anyone from laying hands on her child... Also her mother is a powerhouse within herself so she do not need to use her daughter to be seen... Sometimes she forget the words to songs and her mom is there to support her... From the looks of this video her mom was performing and they got a request for crystal to sing and she did just that and sat down... I love them both so when i see them together i know its about to be some church honey

I agree with you concerning her mother standing to spiritual guard her from people laying hands. It takes the anointing to lay hands, and everyone doesn't have that gift. The ones who are anointed with the gifts of laying hands cannot touch just anybody. They have to be led by the Holy Spirit.

I heard her mom stands by her for confidence and comfort purposes. I also heard her mom stands by her just in case someone tries to lay hands on her. So who knows. Either way, it's no biggie.

@@michaelafleming5084 First, that seems like a “you” personal issue to deal with because you obviously didn’t like your momma like that😐😂Second, her mom made her LITERALLY, because if her mom did not have a well known group and if crystal didn’t join, no one would’ve known she could sing like nobody business💯Third, Crystal don’t be knowing the lyrics to some of those old hymns and her mama feed her the lyrics. Fourth, her mom sometimes holds her up because she gets very exhausted from singing. Fifth, Sit back and hush😘

Love them! And maybe she feels she needs her Mom there, Idk but anyhow the Lord is certainly using her Mom to bring her up boldly before Christ. I love how supportive and encouraging her Mom is! Personally, I'd want someone to stand with me as well. And fyi it's not about being seen, her Mom leads their group! Trust me she's seen.👌🏾

When you are endowed with the Holy Spirit, you are able to sense things that most cannot. Lisa Knowles-Smith is a vocal training coach. If you noticed, she was touching Crystal's back. She was talking, smiling, and providing instructions as Crystal was singing. She was also directing the musicians; it was in her body language. When a request is made for someone to sing a song and it is honored, they don't have to do the entire song. There is a time and place. Everything must be done decent and in order. Those who worship GOD in SPIRIT and in TRUTH know that you do what is instructed. Then, you sit down. I have a family of singers and musicians. I can always tell who is working with your children spiritually and musically in the LORD with their children. IF the adult can sing, their children and grandchildren are going to be singing too. For example, Karen-Clarke Sheard and Kierra Sheard. Now, Karen-Clarke Sheard is singing with her grandchildren. Leandria Johnson sings with her children. There are others who do. It's a spiritual training. It's a spiritual thing, and many will not understand.

Her mom is her strength. She has a powerful gift but the human side of her gets extremely nervous. Her mom helps her to stand boldly.
