What else u can do with robocop? This character is meant for zoning. He has no moves to punish anything. Constantly in disadvantage in close combat.

Yeah like no shit, Robocop is near useless up close, you either zone with him or lose there is no other way period. Up close he is arguably the worst character in the game. I understand zoning is extremely annoying for an average player, but the truth is zoning is and will always be inferior to combo strings

Grzegorz Chyra Shooting guns could be fun too dude! Playing boring was nothing to do with being a zoner. For example have him convert easily from the anti air guns into a combo or something, right now he is no fun at all.

He needs his B2 to be an overhead and he’d have a great combo starter, the F42 is a high and can be ducked and punished. Nobody better say a thing about his 10F mid (F3) that is trash, you gotta be on top of your opponent to connect. Optimal 1bar is a measly 27%-28% and you have to land the F42 or the B2 after a jump in to get it, his pokes are trash, he has trouble closing the gap, no mix up. You are forced to zone, I agree he isn’t as fun as I hoped as well.

The Shang Tsung was playing so bad... I'm a main player of Shang Tsung, and I saw that i didn't use the smoke amplification that can parry melee attacks like the getup. The smoke amplification can give you a nice crushing blow. He hit robocop but he didn't get the combo with ermac and D2 many times. He never used the other crushing blow like : B1+D4 , F3 or D2 He always started with the same combos, and didn't use all the combo to surprise he's opponent like : 2+U2 He didn't use all the special attack like the reptile slide... wich give you a crushing blow No short up or overhead attacks, so he's so predictable... RIP Shang Tsung :'(

It’s just this variation. The character has slow ass normals and no launchers, you pretty much have to play him like this for him to be effective unless you use a different variation. Blame NRS tbh 😂

I know what you are saying. I hate zooners too but with robocop its the only way to play. You cant do shit without zooning. So Robocop i think gets a pass. I played with a guy who zoned with liu spamming 2 move. That its annoying.

Robocop is just a lame character. I don't think even sonic fox can make this guy look good. Sonya: you can zone with her but she's good at close range.....but this guy just forces you to play the zoning gameplay because that's the way you're supposed to play him.....you can't just go "Ima beat this guy up without zoning.....It's just not possible, it seems. and I don't even want to lab with this dude to attempt changing my mind cause he is so boring

Yeah you either have to zone, or mix people up with throws. He’s got KBs on both his throws. I mained him in KL when he first came out and actually had fun but haven’t touched him since.
