Written in 1904, the well-known folkloric piece is based on a Hungarian Csárdás. It was originally composed for violin, mandolin, or piano.

I LOVE how even your tone is, even throughout the technical parts and double tongueing!!! As a high school flutist, this is such an inspiration!!! I have a question: do you have any duet suggestions for two advanced high school flutists? Previously we have played Elegy by Nigel Wood, and Maya by Ian Clark.

That is beautiful, but a question: I am surprised you hold your pinky up (G♯) while playing, my teacher doesn't like when I do that - is that something you try to avoid as well?

It doesn't matter, its all matter of taste and necessity. Plus when playing fast, no one can hear the difference. ; ) You gotta make the flute work for you sometimes.
