Today I'll be showing everyone how I made the Jason costume from Jason X for under $25.00. This tutorial of the Jason X costume will be one of many costume tutorials that I would love to make for you.

I don't do this often, but I really have to commend you for this costume. You got it to look so screen accurate for $25. Alot of people really don't like this look for Jason, partly because it's overshadowed by Uber Jason, but I really like the restraints, brown jacket, and the clothes riddled with bullets. It's a more creative look than the likes of part 8, 9, and FvJ in my opinion.

Now you need a picture with Kane Hodder while inside this costume, this look, part 7 and Freddy vs. Jason look are within the best. Hope You do the Uber Jason costume one day, and maybe the alternate machete he uses in the film to complete the look.

Surprising enough, anyone notice Jason X still had his clothes from part 9? Grey pants and grey shirt. This is surprising just because they pretty much changed the clothing completely before

He must've kept ripping through it as if it were tp, then moved to chains and what not, probably same amount of restraints of the old jacket. (Which is most likely none)

It's probably a hint to Freddy vs Jason since in that film, he wears a jacket whilst in Jason goes to hell, he doesn't have one.

In my opinion this is Jason's worst outfit in all of the F13/Jason movies. But you did a great job at recreating that crappy looking outfit and spot on to the movie like all the other tutorials. Awesome job CS5! I love these videos.

Great video man, I love the way that it came out and that you used a custom blank rather than a normal one for the hockey mask. And for other Jason costumes I think it would be pretty cool if you did either the mortal Kombat or Savini variants Costumes

I think its interesting that he went with a wig cap! I saw some behind the scenes footage of jason x and kane hodder in fact just wore a wig that only covered the top of his head around his ears so you can't tell the difference!

This is honestly super inspirational, your creativity is some of the best, if not the best, I’ve seen for cheap alternatives for any kind of Jason look. Out of curiosity, what is the song/theme you used around the 3:05 mark and periodically throughout the video? It’s super catchy and has been stuck in my head. Keep up the great work!

the jacket is similar to the way i did it. the only difference is i used an old button up shirt. our methods are basically the same which is pretty cool!

I was going to use a shirt as first but once I came across this jacket I knew it would be a little bit better :-)

@@CS5UNMASKED definitely has that thicker quality! i find it gunny though that we used the same brad of shirt, pants, and methods for our jason x's though! though some small tips in case you wann revisit this piece, 1. the blood is more of a brown and yellow mixture, made to resemble dried out blood. idk why they chose that color, but its there. and 2. you can remove the pockets on the shirt with a razor blade, you just have to very carefully dig at the seams. it looks wicked man, and i cant wait to see what else is in store! i think all thats left for you to do now is the NES jason, the savini jason, Uber jason, and 2009 jason. from there you could start on his costumes from the friday the 13th mobile game! thatd be fun

I hate to break it to ya but I think the the grey movie shirt was actually collar-less, or a ‘Mandarin collar’ shirt, according to ‘making of’ behind-the-scenes footage (also visible in online stills from the _Friday the 13th_ museum website I think). It’s impossible to see that in the movie under the neck shackle though! Also, I think that his ‘jacket’ was intended to be an institutional straightjacket out of which he broke 😅
