【CSA Military Song】The Bonnie Blue Flag (Japanese edition)【NEUTRINO AI KIRITAN】
I'm crazy about the anime "Oniichan wa Oshimai!". I also bought a cartoon.
I want my brother to be my sister.

Fun Japanese Confederate fact! The CSS Stonewall was an ironclad commissioned by the Confederate Navy in 1865. Sadly, she never ended up seeing service, as the war ended shortly thereafter. She was sold to the Tokugawa Shogunate who renamed her Kōtetsu, and finally ended up in the hands of the Imperial government. She played a major role in several naval battles during the Boshin War and the Meiji Restoration. She served the Japanese government faithfully for several decades, before finally being laid to rest in 1888.

I wish I was in Dixie Land, wasnt originally a war song, but a song by a Yank(Ohio lad) about visiting the south. It grew in popularity in the Southern states for obvious reasons, and when the war came to be, what better song to choose, change a few lyrics, and whabam! War song.

As a descendant of several ancestors who were members of Waul's Texas Legion, I'm heartened by this rendition! Although from talking to native Nihongo-speakers in Japan, the Japanese know how to pronounce "Texas" the way we do-- they're not hard sounds for Japanese to pronounce. They could have sung it with the proper Texas pronunciation, instead of whatever that was-- Japan made up their own word for "Texas"? That'd be Bizarro!....it's like how they know how to make the same cut of pork in Japan, but don't know how to cure it to make it into bacon. 🥓

CSN Captain Junichiro Hendrickson (formelry Josiah Hendriskson) built a minka style house on his Georgia property. All his house slaves were made to wear kimonos, and the females had to dress as geishas. He taught his slaves how to sing many traditional Southern songs in both English and Japanese. This song was his favorite while drinking green tea in the evening. Cpt. Hendrickson's fascination with Japanese culture came during his time with Comodore Perry, and being one of the first Americans to enter the mysterious eastern country. Because of the Union blockade, Junichiro found little work as a seaman, so he helped out on land any way he could. When General Sherman came to his plantation, Hendrickson brandished his katana and attempted a samurai charge, where he met his end by 50 yankee guns.

Many don’t know the history of the song. One of the first public performances was in New Orleans when a Texas brigade was passing through. The song made the men so excited that a riot started after a policeman tried to quiet one of the Texans who wouldn’t stop loudly cheering. The riot was stopped eventually due to the mayor and the Texas colonel personally showing up to calm the men.

Beautiful cover of a fantastic Southern song! As a Texan, I look forward to Yellow Rose of Texas if you cover it, but also have enjoyed your covers of other songs, so I'll look forward to whatever song comes next.

Now I wanna hear a rendition of Battle Cry of Freedom or the Battle Hymn of the Republic after hearing this and Dixieland. Good job! Edit: Now that I think about it, I recommend doing covers of songs by Stephen Foster. He was the writer of many popular songs from this era of American history like "Camptown Races" and "Old Kentucky Home".

My ancestors, in Japanese, have been honored though dead and gone they are. We still yell; "Hurrah!" for the Bonnie Blue flag that bears our sacred star.

Your work with the AI and this song is spectacular and is becoming a major inspiration for myself, so thank you very much! If you ever have a chance, the song "Garryowen" would be fantastic with the voices of these maidens!

I listened to it! It's a fun song! I'm glad it was a song I didn't know. I know it will be difficult to get started soon, but I have added it to the list! Thank you!

Ah, a fine piece of America, a song that translates so well into another language. It would be very useful to use to reach out to any other wasteland tribes that might speak this language. We request more great musical works of our great land, to better reach out and aid this once great nation! We here at the Enclave, the legitimate American government, would greatly appreciate it…

Hurrah for the Bonnie Blue Flag that bears a single star! Remember lads, when the federal government becomes too much, it’s time to rally behind the star that represents us all.
