About the weed allergy: it might be a smoke allergy. I'm asthmatic, and switching to a dry herb vape has helped me abuse my lungs more often. Plus, you get free decarbed weed. The specific type I have is a Storz & Bickel Mighty. It's a very very good German design. Crafty or Crafty+ is the cheapest version (any "+" smokes dabs as well). Mighty has two coils over Crafty's 1, and the volcano is a table to vape.

Subtitles are massively underrated. There's a layer of comedy you can add to them and it makes the dialogue much easier to follow for me.

If you like this sort of chill content then I recommend Mikeburnfire's New Vegas series (it starts slow but it gets better over time), or any other series by him really. Zach's Gun Rants series is a good introduction if you want something a bit more condensed from it.
