Hello, how does the slug automatically have "HelloServlet" ? I didn't see you use @WebServlet. Did you map the servlet in the web.xml file? Or does the slug automatically default to the file name if you don't implement either?

Thank you. I have a question: the first time I run it, it runs. But the second time I run (I also do the same steps: right click on input.html then run on server -> choose an existing server -> localhost apache-tomcat-10.0.13 then it shows error: Several ports (8005, 8080) required by apache-tomcat-10.0.13 at localhost are already in use. The server may already be running in another process, or a system process may be using the port. To start this server you will need to stop the other process or change the port number(s). Then I use command line to find an kill the listening port: netstat -ano | findstr 8080 and taskkill /f /pid (name of listening port). Then I run again, it shows error: Server apache-tomcat-10.0.13 at localhost failed to start. After that I run command: startup (I think this command is to restart Tomcat) then run, it shows this error again: Several ports (8005, 8080) required by apache-tomcat-10.0.13 at localhost are already in use. The server may already be running in another process, or a system process may be using the port. To start this server you will need to stop the other process or change the port number(s). It is like a vicious circle. I do not know what I did wrong.

When u kill services it kills tomcat services too. Hence when u r trying to start it says can't start. Solution is change tomcat server port number.
