Was privileged to watch Francis, Hatton,Latchford, Burns, Kendall..so many ex Blues greats. Francis was a step above any we ever have had. Opposition teams tried every time they came down to mark the danger man out of the game, couldn't be done. KRO

Great interview. Trevor is a legend. So many memories. I was privileged to be there on Feb 20 1971. I had the good fortune to meet Trevor twice. The first time was at a Moseley Cricket Club charity fundraiser and the second was at Detroit airport in 1994 when Trevor was in the USA commenting on the World Cup for ITV with Brian Moore. Trevor is a gentleman, a super nice person.

Seemed a very humble man . I’m a Forest fan so only ever knew what he did for us and then after. Didn’t realise how hero worshipped he was at Brum . Amazing what he did there and every club he went to. I’ve just read his autobiography and it’s one of the best if not the best I’ve read . Would of been interesting to see what he could of done as the England manager .😢❤😢

He was the reason my dad took me to my first game, Trevor Francis a real legend of the game. I remember the free kick against Blackpool, it was towards the Tilton and it was my first floodlight game. I have lived now in Perth Australia but return often prior to Covid and follow the Blues where ever whilst I am in in the UK. My daughter was a mascot against Fulham when Lee Boyer scored the winner, that day I met Trevor Francis and reminded him about the Blackpool goal and my first game which was a 3-1 over Sunderland. TF did not score but hit the post twice. Magic times.

My childhood hero and this interview is a pure joy! I was at that Leeds semi final where we were outclassed and it broke my heart , a common theme as blue nose lol Trevor called that Leeds side best club side he had ever played against and who could argue with that! The Francis, Hatton and Latchford era will always be my best times as a Blues fan, with massive crowds, what a shadow of its for more glories it is these days, so sad to see. As you can see in this interview Trevor was a gentleman and somewhat shy , I know i am biased but I think we had his best years. RIP a true blues legend and gentleman.

The king of St Andrews. I saw Trev at an early age, in 1973, and he was the real deal. A girl who lived up the road from me, was going out with Trevor's son, so I asked about a signed photo, no problem, it has pride of place on my wall. Cheers Trev.

SuperTrev. Only three years older than me. I'd been going to Standys since 1962 (my Uncle Bill took me up the Tiiton) I was up the Tilton then too. I took over my Uncle's place there. Joys & sorrows maybe but Trev will always remain with me. The service to the likes of Bob Latchford, Bob Latchford, Geoff Vowden & sometimes to players like Johnny Vincent and Alan Campbell. Always Blue, always my blueboys, with Trev., Great team. #KRO Thanks too, to our Tom. Sadly missed on our radios.

I was at the Arsenal youth cup game at Highbury the week after his 4 goals. I remember seeing Trevor outside the main entrance and he looked about 12 not 16. I also recall seeing Bob Latchford there supporting the team and Trevor was “less than average” in fact he played out on the right wing and barely got a touch. Arsenal went on to win the FA Youth cup that year, but we had Trevor, Kenny Burns and Joe Gallagher, better individuals than Arsenal.

Trev, Burns and Latchford(bob) used to come into a coffee house(greasy spoon) in Maxstoke St, by the ground, and go upstairs to play the pinball machines. What a noisy lot they were🤣. I cant believe my hero's were two feet from me and I couldn't say a word,I was the same age as well, then come the weekend, I'd pay to stand in the Tilton and watch them. Happy days, thanks Trev, you are a gentleman

My first game at St. Andrew's was '75 when Trev scored in a 2-1 win against top-of-the-table Derby, but one of my true highlights was seeing TF score that hat-trick for QPR against the Villa. I was in the Holte End biting my lip. Incognito. What a thrill.
