i have an undergraduate degree in biology and i have a masters in botany ... why does this crazy woman of the EPA have her job and I am unemployed ..I will take her job ...and do better than her by virtue of listening to people instead of pontificating and patronizing everyone.. she should step down... What does this woman do everyday? I am applying for job. Appoint me. I can do better with my hands tied behind my back.This woman is long overdue to retire and incompetent.

The EPA was consistently told to fuck off by the state despite them having the experts. This is the game the Republicans in congress play - they cut funding and degrade the EPA's authority, trying it's hands. Then they get to go on TV during public hearings and ask shit like "Well why do we even need an EPA if you don't have the authority to intervene during an emergency?" It's a disingenuous trick meant for people like you who have such a lack of intelligence that all you see is whats on the surface. You guys all fall for this act too - Look at his shaking hands, cracking voice, and his constants interruptions - does that look like someone who has the facts on their side? No. He has to be loud and disrespectful so it looks like he's on the peoples side. He won't let her respond because he knows he has nothing to retort with. Come on dude. It's so obvious. Please try and be at least mildly coherent.

Environment drinking water across our country has never been so bad.due to contamination and corruption at the EPA. Obama created this after the reactors blew mot fuel into the jet stream in 3/15/11 . Ask why Obama and EPA raised safe radiation in our drinking water on the west coast. Nobody will ask and the 9 year cover-up continues.

Chaffetz seems to enjoy posturing. There's plenty of blame to go around in this fiasco. Laying most of the blame on the EPA administrator is a stretch. The Flint plant operator and people at the state level in the MDEQ were closest to the problem and failed to respond quickly to the complaints of Flint residents. It did not help that Flint had an appointed emergency manager. It was too easy to dismiss the complaints of the residents of Flint who were mostly poor, black, and Democrats. They lacked voice in Lansing.

Doesn't the water get tested on a scheduled basis (For example once a week) and when there is a potential problem ? On another note, this reminds me of the constant emails I sent regarding the victimization that has almost destroyed my life ! The crimes are REAL, I have suffered financially for it, and the emails were ignored ! Not only my emails were ignored, but certain individuals laughed in my face !! #lawsuit Last, go Jason Chaffetz go !! 👍👍

They ignored the problem and they knew about they were obligated to look at the pipes but not to replace them. That should be a crime. They have the word "protection" in their title but don't offer that at all.

coming off a sewage plant, the suspended solids should be less than 15 parts per million and the biological oxygen demand should also be less than 15 parts per million and distilled water should be pure H2O with no suspended solids and no oxygen demand

The Governor and his money people did all this so they could build a new pipeline that no one needed simply to make huge profits. When the car plant got to have clean water and the people of Flint had to drink poisoned water he should be in jail, and all his cronies too. This is just another case when the guilty walk away, dont think they lost any sleep about the poisoned children, the only sleep they lost was when they had to make sure THEY were not going to jail
