Just want to comment on these. I’ve had them for almost a month now. On a whim, I got the 16oz Linares version … hehe what can I say🤷🏻‍♂️. At first I thought they were *WAY* to big because I’m used to gloves expanding to fit my hand, but these really are a perfect fit with 180” wraps. The perfect size. The thumb feels great on mine too. They might be my new favorite, surprisingly. I have Rival, Cleto Reyes, Top Boxer and some Title gloves. So I can compare a bit, and these are just fantastic on the bag, punch shield, etc. I haven’t sparred in them but will soon I hope. Didn’t think I’d like them this much. (Anyhow, just wanted to leave a little feedback and my personal experience with these. So far the only issue is opening up my hand. The leather is tough. I think they’ll last years.)

I figured you would of said the Hayabusa t3. I am going to be using them as an all around glove, but I am getting the 16oz for sparring. Does that make a difference in your recommendation? I did also see the BGV6 which seemed to a less dense padding.

Hey Carlos! Great reviews you have on here. There are 3 gloves that I am debating on getting off amazon in Canada cause of the limited choices. The Hayabusa t3, the Fairtex BGV9, or the Everlast Powerlock Pro. Could you give a recommendation? I'm looking at 16oz.
@csquaredboxing
@csquaredboxing 4 жыл бұрын
Thanks man, appreciate the support, greetings from AZ. Out of the 3 you mentioned I would go with the BGV9, the best quality and hand compartment of those 3 and nice responsive padding.

Got mine in 16oz custom in Black with black logo, red logo thumb, inside metallic red and gold. My previous gloves were the Venum Elite 12oz. The giant 2.0 are so much better. They are so comfortable, they protect your hand so much so you never have to hold on your punch to protect your hand. The wrist protection is just perfect you can stop worrying injuring yourself with a failed hook on the heavy bag. My recommendation if you are serious about boxing look no further and get your pair. You will notice the difference at the first punch. Protect your hands at all time :-) 16oz is the way to go.

I like you stated where they are made. I feel venun stuff is real hit or miss. I feel Thai made stuff is better. Rival and ring to cage are only Pakistan made stuff worth getting. I have c 17 in gold lace up's n they are nice.
@csquaredboxing
@csquaredboxing 4 жыл бұрын
Yeah I agree, it all depends on who makes it rather than region. I’d say 80% of boxing gear is made in Pakistan, some of it excellent craftsmanship, the other a little more mass produced feeling. It really depends on the leather maker and how much time they spend on perfecting the gear. Top boxer is great because he runs a smaller operation and keeps things top notch. He’s not a larger operation where they churn out tons of gloves each month to sell to 3rd parties. So you can tell the difference in quality.

A little, typically the newer glove has a higher number, but Venum chose differently. Doesn’t make a difference either way.

16 oz has a -huge hand compartment- Just bit the bullet on these. The hand compartment is -ginormous- . -Definitely useable but has the same feel as wearing pants that are a size too big- With wraps, it fits perfectly. I’m used to gloves having to expand to fit my hand. These don’t need to. (With 180” wraps, it is a perfect fit. I had no pinching or anything. I love these gloves more and more each day.)

@@funkrates4778 thanks for the reply. I actually got a pair in 14oz a while back but decided to return them as the back seemed a bit too curved imo. I instead got another pair of fly.. Couldn't be happier

@@jonathanbaker2215 Yeah. You bet. That's interesting. There must be an issue with quality control. When I bring my hands up, the wrist pinches because it's pretty long, but only on the right. Nevertheless, I'm keeping mine. I'm curious to see how they hold up. They feel tough. I oddly like them a lot right now hah. But I'll see how long that lasts! Cheers
