The widecab met the shrimp widecab at track speed.. Note Shot was set up from crossing 5 min before train ever got on scene. Even on a stupid shot idea, play it safe..

Awesome how that little HO scale model engine didn't even move when the real train went over it at a lightning speed. The little engine that could.

Hey SCL3618 I may have made a slight misjudgment in my video of my MTH GS4s pulling power, it isn’t the engines fault at all, it was warped track and uneven floor, sorry bout that :/ it’s still a good puller tho

Great video! What company makes this HO scale GEVO? Also why are the trucks and fuel tank silver? To my knowledge they are suppose to be black on CSX units.

The GEVO locomotive is made by GE Transportation, originally owned by GE but sold to Wabtec a couple years ago.

If the train had a dragging equipment defect, you might be down an HO GEVO

Would have whacked the crossing first, engine was right off the paved section. It was a troublesome project chassis, so I honestly wouldn't have minded much.

I can guarantee that with the higher costs for model railroad stuff Downunder, you wouldn't consider doing this with new equipment.
@SCL36183 жыл бұрын
For a lower end Walthers engine that was proving to be a headache- had to purchase 2 engines to complete the project in mind, this was just the leftover shell and chassis missing parts they would never return my requests on- I had no issue letting it take a side adventure. Good reason you didn't see anything of high value staged up!

From the hilarious mock-umentary, "A Mighty Wind." A model train enthusiast talking about his hobby to a not-too-bright person at a dinner party: "I collect model trains. It's a passion of mine." Response: "Thank God for model trains...or they never would have got the idea for the big ones!" ;-))

Thumperjdm - Oh yes! Micky & Maude - the Folk-Rock duo! Maude's husband is showing Micky his G scale layout. I don't know if it was intended for railfans to catch, but the beginning of the layout scene has a fast-moving Shay!

@bkriegel95 When you've spent 2x the price of 1 engine for a project and the other chassis started acting screwy, I was more than ready to get rid of it. No chance of recouping the cost of a sound decoder out of it.
