Does the ring charger do anything like this? I say it has variable charging capacities 2 amp, 4amp, to 12amps. Also it has diagnostics / such as voltage / cca (cranking amounts), and if your battery is holding any charges).

Will it show the exact voltage of the battery?

How long are the leads from the ring terminals to the unit itself? CTEK's specifications are severely lacking in info.

Interesting idea, but I can't imagine it has very good range using Bluetooth. Especially since it is surrounded by steel in the engine compartment. Probably wouldn't be much good as I have a detached garage. Would be better if it was connect to Wi-Fi then I'd know if my battery was low before going out to start my car. I wonder if it using an ESP32 microprocessor? Thanks for posting.

Hola a todos! Necesito ayuda: tengo una segunda batería y me dejé un USB conecto esta semana y parece que la batería estuvo a mínimos. Como tengo conectado un booster, se ha ido recargando este fin de semana, porque enchufo las cosas, incluida la calefacción, y funcionan. Pero tengo un problema con el transmisor: tengo instalado un transmisor Ctek, pero no conecta. Desde el día 9 de junio me dice que tenía 10% pero no se actualiza en la aplicación. He vuelto a instalarlo, desinstalando la aplicación etc... y nada.. No conecta. ¿Sabéis a qué puede deberse? Claramente le ha afectado quedarme prácticamente sin batería, pero no debería agarrar a la conexión ahora que se ha ido recargando, no? Es simplemente un transmisor. Ya me diréis algo, por favor, porque no tengo ni idea y no puedo saber cuanta batería tengo 😢

I have 3 of sensors, the most recent since 2019 and was very pleased with them. However, since the latest app update for Android, in April/May 2022, the app and the device are useless. I can no longer read the charge state or the battery data. The sensor is completely useless now. If your phone is Android please don't buy these unless the vendor can show that the app works. ( It seems to still work with IOS ).
