This is just stating how to unlock N Tropy, not a video of me showing how to do it. It will take a lot of time and patience.
Penta Code: Hold L1&R1 - Down, Right, Triangle, Down, Left, Triangle, Up.

I believe you have to beat all of N.Tropy's ghost races to unlock him

I just got him about 10 minutes ago, yes, you have to beat all of his Ghost races, then all of Oxide's ghost races for his platinum skin.

@@evilmegasteve That is insane!! xD Congratulations! Is it just the ghost N. Tropy's that you have to beat on the 8 stages that I said? or all of them? Because I don't think you can race him on every track.

@@shadowsoul720 You have to beat his ghost on every single track in the game; all 30; including CNK tracks. To unlock his ghost in the first place, you must place a time in the time trials that is considered 'worthy', just like in the original game. His ghosts are never accessible from the start.

@Ainsley Harriott Apparently you've got to get a fast time in time trial in order to unlock his ghost, then you've got to beat that. Sorry for the confusion, that also happened to me!

Raced someone last night online who had unlocked and was playing as N, trophy. No suprise he finished over 20 seconds ahead of me.

So, after not being able to beat him, I switched to Penta Penguin for all the trials and I’m beating n.tropy pretty easy, make sure u play a speed character and u take them short cuts whilst turbo turning, hope this helps!

im hoping that activision adds a cheat code that unlocks him for the arcade mode, but if u actually want to use him in online u gotta beat his times. just so that its "special" for those few who manage to unlock him

I'd like it if they at least cut down the amount of tracks you had to complete... Or increase the time slightly.. But I also know that it would make players like @evilmegasteve feel a little ripped off. So yeah. I can understand how people feel (myself included). I think that if they were to make a cheat code or something, that this should be how they do it, rather than just unlocking the character. Or perhaps a limited time unlock in arcade mode for players who are young or inexperienced. That way they still get to play the character.

I’ll be blunt here; would you advise taking the half-pipe shortcut in Sewer Tour, if only at least once? It seems to be really hit-or-miss, and I don’t really know how much time it actually shaves off.

I'm sure you have to beat N.Tropy on all tracks, it's really challenging, I've only beat him on a few tracks I'm good at

No, you cannot unlock any other characters except Penta with cheat codes currently. Good question tho!

I beat NTropy with super engine didn't count. If you go into adventure mode it will describe cheat codes.

Adventure mode 101% on hard with all platinum relics in 2 days after games release and yesterday got beat all of n.tropys and oxides time trials. Missing just one achievement in a whole game so i would say unlocking n.tropy or finishing game 101% on hard isnt that hard or impossible. 🤙🏼😎

Pinstripe oxide etc accelration characters are best by far to beat those times and oxide can be pretty easy sometimes and sometimes hard af. 😅

That’s bullshit! Anyone knows that you gotta beat N Trophy yo unlock him. No wonder why beat you on this video. Once you are faster than him, you will be able to beat Nitros Oxide. I thank you for the cheat code to unlock Penta Penguin, though.

That's his actual name. It's what the N stands for in N. Tropy. If not... then I have no idea why I would write that in the title haha :) I didn't play a lot of R&C.

I agree. Roo's tubes takes some trial and error for example, but a decent few are fairly timing based like deep sea diving.

Is it actually worth wasting hrs of gameplay just to unlock a character who has same stats as Tiny Tiger, Dingodile and Crunch. There's nothing special about him is there?

Nah, I don't think there's anything to "really" be gained, mainly just bragging rights (much deserved tho). In fact some of the current ways to earn bonus "nitro fuel" in game include beating your own previous time trials. So it may actually be a negative in some cases. Although trying to 100% complete the games cosmetics and (possibly) achievements does seem rather tempting to some!

It depends, some people get him with the originals, some it has to be all of them. Probably a bug issue.

For Penta and N. Tropy? No. Penta is through a code and N. Tropy is unlocked when you beat all his times.
