Funny. I worked for Raymond Atkey in St Paul’s in the 72, 74 and 79 elections. I lived in an adjacent riding which, at the time, was a safe PC riding (Don Valley West) and St Paul’s was always seen (back then) as a swing riding, and it needed more help. I’d love to see the Conservatives win there again - about time Toronto voted intelligently again.

One major reason for Liberal support in the riding has been the popularity of the former MP, Carolyn Bennett. Not all of her supporters will necessarily line up to vote for her successor as Liberal candidate.
