The same happened with DEAD KENNEDYS, just less people included. Jello was wrong,he would be a big nobody without his great band (i like his other stuff, but nothing comes close to DK's), but the rest of the band was wrong too, Jello was the face of DKs,without his voice and lyrics they would be forfgotten today. Makes me sad. I learned English translating lyrics from PLASTIC SURGERY DISASTERS, i'm from Croatia

When I think of California in the late 70s I’m not like everyone else who suddenly starts humming Hotel California. I start humming nervous breakdown or any of the tunes from group sex. And we have to thank Keith for that for wiping out the image of the feathered-haired peaceful easy feeling trope that was prevalent in California rock ‘n’ roll at the time.

Anyone remember the days when many semimal punk rock records were out of print unavailable and impossible to hear unless you had $50 ($125 in today's money) via Flipside & MRR classifieds? It's surreal to this day how quickly punk & heavy metal evolved from 1976-1987.

Keith says nobody wants to be around Greg Ginn...except the giant, long line of people after the Black Flag shows I went to in 2019 in Austin & Dallas. Greg & the band hung out over an hour talking with fans. I tire of this political bullshit amongst Black Flag members. Yeah, I’ve heard many interviews with ex-Flag members & quite a few of their label mates who say that Ginn is a real piece of shit who’s got a serious problem paying those that he owes. It takes a true scumbag to pull that kinda garbage, especially on those who are or used to be friends or associates. I mean think about it, even his own brother thinks he’s a lowlife, that really says something about his character. I absolutely love Morris, I’ve been a fan for decades but I do disagree with one statement that he made, Greg Ginn is NOT a great guitarist...not even a decent one.
