The crazy thing here is he was just there for the opening act where he sang Defying Gravity, All I Ask and his solo debut song Room. During the sound check/rehearsal right before the show, David Foster asked him to sing the song. David then asked him to perform it in the main show. The pressure was on Stell, but he nailed it. He wasn't even in his best state here! Mind you aside from this performance being unplanned, he was sick a couple of days before this, had a show with his group SB19 the night before where they sang and danced to 6 songs, then flew back to Manila after to perform at David's concert. He's voice has always been stable. You may also want to check out their group SB19's Wish bus performances of Liham, Ilaw, Tilaluha, Hanggang sa Huli. Thank you for appreciating Stell. I'm new to your channel and I'm looking forward to your next reaction videos. 💙

I think dimash uses a lot of falsettos and head voice when he sings? Stell sounds more natural without pretention. He just wanna sing the way it is. ❤

El rendimiento de Stell es impresionante sin lugar a dudas. Y lo que lo hace aún más increíble es que solo se suponía que fuera el acto de apertura y esta interpretación de "All By Myself" fue improvisada, no parte del repertorio del concierto y un desafío improvisado de David Foster. Es increíble pensar que ya había cantado tres canciones de tono alto y exigentes vocalmente, y para colmo, no está en su mejor estado (está enfermo). También debo mencionar que un día antes del concierto, SB19 tuvo actuaciones intensas en un evento. Y el elefante en la habitación: él es un hombre, cantando la pieza en tono femenino y haciéndolo impecablemente. ¡Stell está destinado a ser una leyenda!

Yes through the interview ...its impromptu...David Foster give him only 1 try...No rehearsal coz its not a part of his song as a first opening act in the concert..But he nailed it using female version..So pressure and bit nervous coz u sang with the songwriter of All By Myself sung original by CelIne Dion..I saw in tiktok ..

Stell's performance is nothing short of impressive. And what makes it even more incredible is that he was only supposed to be an opening act and this "All By Myself" performance was unplanned, not part of the concert repertoire, and an impromptu challenge from David Foster. It's insane to think that he had already sung three high-pitched and vocally demanding songs, and to top it off, he's not in the best condition (he's sick). I had to mention, too, that a day prior to the concert, SB19 had intense performances at an event. And the elephant in the room-he's a man, hitting the piece in female key and doing it cleanly. Stell is a legend in the making!

He was only informed to sing All by myself during their rehearsal few hours before the concert when David ask Stell to try sing the song and listen to the arrangement and it was not plan according to the interview. I think it can be worded as "impromptu". A performace without earlier planning.

@@heyyolit came from the horse mouth(kay Stell)) that althoigh the song was not included in the original plan, Davd and Stell , duriing the reheatsal agreed to perform the song at the concert and they rehearsed the song prior to the actual day of the consert hence it was PLANNED and REHEARSED. On his tweet he also said it was almost like an audition since he was just ask (on that day) as David foster say "Wanna perform it tonight?" means few hours prior to the concert. Even if he practice it once with David still it's not plan ahead. I just based the meaning of impromptu = not plan. Why so mean?😅 I just observed many A'tin used impromptu on their comments or tweet. I tried to check the meaning. It make sense though. Why so rude? Just try to understand their comment. I did not say it myself but I tried to understand fellow A'tin. We just have to be nice.

the differrence between dimash and stell is that stell is with one of the best groups ever sb19. he will dance with really quick choreo to singing ballads and then back to something like crimzone. stell is killin it by himself solo, but stell definitely kills it in sb19

You can be a big fan of Dimash, as i am too, but if people are saying what i am saying about SB19 and Stell, then perhaps you can go figure out why people are saying it? @party eslife8157 curioso que solo veas una diferencia entre Dimash y Stell te las digo yo ya que te veo muy perdido Dimash canta opera y crossover tiene 7 octavas técnica inhumana único en el mundo en ser premiado en opera y pop tiene 2 grammys chinos en pop es embajador de migración en Asia por la ONU tesoro nacional embajador en China en comercio ( ruta de la seda ) el presidente chino y su esposa son seguidores de Dimash . Está entre los 500 musulmanes más influyentes del mundo y es portador en sus letrass de unión y paz entre pueblos y orador en conferencias . Me edalla del Papá Francisco r su trabajo story of one Sky y en 2019 mejor voz asiática galardonado en Rusia por Olímpico . Es la segunda persona más importante en Kazajistán después de su presidente y activo en reuniones y cumbres con líderes políticos . Así que si sabías esto me ha sorprendido muchísimo que conociéndolo solo ves la diferencia que Stell usa coreografías porque Dimash también hace baladas . .Dimash también baila poco pero lo hace pero comprenderás que no lo va a ser ni en opera ni en rock ni folklore de su país ni otros que visita . Cuando te dedicas al pop hoy en día o bailas o fracasas . No lo ves bailar en esta canción verdad ? Dimash tampoco 😂

Stell has for years been compared to Dimash time and again. I think both are fantastic singers but Stell has only had a few years of vocal training and can sing wonderfully this way. He also dances impressively. Dimash, however, can play several music instruments and has been exposed to music training early on in his life. It is unfair to compare the two. Both are musically gifted.

Such a comparison exists only in the dreams of Filipinos. Jajjjjj To begin with Dimash handles several types of vibratos from the caprino of 1/2 and 1 semitone, the classic of 2 semitones and that increases to 3 and 4 semitones !!! in intense notes, something that is not even seen in Opera, less in contemporary music, The vibrato subglotto of 5 semitones !!!! And your guy is not even able to increase to his singing the simple goat vibrato of 1/2 semitone to increase the vocal difficulty.🤣 What comparison do you write about?

I beg to disagree with what you said that Stell can/will be or is the successor of Dimash!?! There's no comparison between these 2. Stell is a league of his own & he doesn't need to do any revisions to the song he sings for operatic purposes. He sings as what the song requires as how it should be sung and how it should be.

Yes, there is no comparison but not because Stell is in a league of his own: Dimash is the one who will remain unsurpassed for a long time to come. Singing a song just the way the original singer did, may be impressive. But it is just an act of imitation. Dimash, by contrast, shows creativity and artistry by making such songs his own. Apart from the fact that he just has the more powerful voice. But I admit this Stell guy is not bad. However, once you've heard the true master of singing, everyone else sort of pales... 😉

Después de escuchar a Dimash ya nada me sorprende.... un amplio rango vocal?? Si, llega muy alto, pero recordemos que un gran amplio rango vocal no es solo para arriba, si no también para abajo, y eso es lo que hace unico a Dimash, o ya se olvido de la canción "Stranger" .... por eso Dimash esta canción la hizo suya, por que no sigio siempre el tono de Celine Dion, también utilizo tono grave y al final de la canción la rompe! .... no creo que sea el sucesor de Dimash, primero por que tienen la misma edad, casi, y Dimash sige sacando canciones nuevas, haciendo conciertos..... se nota que hace tiempo no reaccionas a Dimash 🤷

You have to know that stell dont have bocal lessons prior of him becoming member of sb 19 compared to dimash that at young age he’s been coached to perform so these 2 are not equals but both are great
