On the bottom of the two lift straps, you can raise your sleeve hitch from the bottom hole up a hole or two and it will give you some extra height.

I love the cultivator you have on that Cub Cadet tractor and it is doing the job perfectly too. I am about ready to put my tractor and it's implements to work as soon as I decide where my garden will be. I have a single plow, rototiller, and several other implements which I can use in my garden, but do have to get my garden site determined soon so I can grow some vegetables, and melons.

I attach my cultivators, plows, and similar to my 4x4 pickup truck, which handles the task easily. I cut side-to-side the rectangle so I can just whip a wide u-turn at the end of each row (no need to lift the blades). Of course, my garden (roughly a quarter acre) is larger than his - too big for a small lawn tractor, but not large enough to stress the truck.

Nice tractor, I'd like to have those back tires. :D Sounds like your hydro is low on fluid.

Whoa! Those are some space cowboy shorts your buddy has on! I like the tractor, I can't wait to start ripping up the ground in my garden this year with the plow. Great job on all your Cubs.

Will you get decals for it? Also you should have upped the throttle on it. On my 1450 I stalled it running at low throttle.

I just found a 1450 and cant find the year it was made. I have located the serial number on the data plate on the left side, but cant find it anywhere. I just want to get an owners manual and service manual for my model. were you able to locate the year yours was built without trouble?

when I by a lawn mower what is the thing called that raises and lowers in the rear?
@chooster50009 жыл бұрын
The part that raises and lowers the sleeve hitch is called a rockshaft that's the part the lift rod goes in , the u shaped piece is the brinly adapter, a lot of people call them 3 point hitch because they attach to the tractor at 3 points but they they arnt technically

What brand cultivator is it. I need to buy one for my garden. We have a cub cadet garden tractor.
@Machi740056 жыл бұрын
This Cultured Life It was probably built by Brinley; however, I know it was an IH branded unit. A family member had ine just like it for a 149 when I was a kid 40 years ago. You might find one on Ebay but new ones are long gone.

Listen to the trans axel it's hating life
@CTB380 Жыл бұрын
you’d be surprised, they sound like they’re struggling but the transaxle is usually the last thing to break on these tractors. The Hydrostatic pump sounded like that even when it was new
