Swanson's a lot like Gaethje, he always goes for the KO, he places himself in danger to get the job done, and he gives the people what they want. Beautiful Destruction. One of the best ever.

I have nothing but good things to say about this guy. He's such an amazing fighter. I've only known him since the Dustin Poirier fight but I can definitely say that Cub Swanson is my favorite fighter.

I remember watching this, as well as Cub's fights, in high school in 2014 and 2015. Time flies, man. Ironically, I'm Georgian, and knew about Cub and watched his fights way before other fellow Georgians got familiar with him because of Giga.

It's between him, Hendricks, and Weidman. Swanson is definitely the most deceptive, though. He works from some amazing angles without telegraphing one little bit, and frankly, makes you think he's doing something else. Physics defying! Natural talent. Incredible.

He throws a headlock very well, after they land he goes for mount instead of Kesa Gatame which keeps him from getting his back taken. Good strategy, fluid technique, and unorthodox tactics make him fun to watch!
