mine has broken after 2 hours of using it, in total. the left paddle stopped working...i contacted them for assistance, but for now, no response

Oh no, sorry to hear that. I’ve been using it pretty heavily for a couple of months now and have had no issues. Hopefully that’s a one off and they get it resolved

Hi Merrick, nice video, and may I ask a question that if I have both simucube2 and fanatec base, can I use the wireless version on the fanatec as well via the usb cable?

Nope, it’s only compatible with the Simucube. I actually have a fanatec wheel base as well as the simucube, so it’s rather unfortunate

hi.. no question about the wheel .. i just want to know since u have both fanatec and sc 2 base .. which one u like more and why ? tnx

Sc2 is definitively better. It can produce a stronger force and has a higher resolution. These differences are noticeable in practice. That being said, sc2 is also way more expensive. So there’s a trade off there. If I didn’t have an sc2 and never tried it, I suspect I’d think the fanatec DD was just fine.

@Merrick well i had the dd1 for about a year now.. and today I'm receiving the sc 2 ro . Just hope i dont regret it 😅

How do you use it on wireless mode? DO they have a usb dongle to plug to your pc?

It connects to the Simucube, and the Simucube connects to your PC. The wireless is super easy to setup and I’ve never had an issue

@@merrick51 What if you have a non-simucube base? Mine will be the Moza base r16.. is it still possible via dongle?

@@daemon3spade hmm not sure. I think it’s made specifically to pair with the simucube. It might be worth reaching out the them to find out
