A Palatine, Illinois native, Mike Tauchman grew up a Cubs fan and was looking forward to playing in the iconic rivalry series. I get chills reliving this, too, Adbert!! I watched this game with bated breath. I detest the Cardinals and I live in the St Louis area.i was jumping up and down screaming and clapping , scaring my dog to death, when Tauchman caught that ball. Wow! Incredible!!! For days I was smiling BIG and repeating to all Cardinals fans I saw, "Did you see that Tauchman catch?!!! Love my Cubs!

I was at that game! Can see me at 8:10 with the navy blue shirt & red hat in the bottom left! We exploded when he caught that! That changed the whole season! Tauchman, you are the MAN! Thank you for that! Fly The W!
