Mark....I completely agree with you. We have a total of 14 Cudde Cell Cameras including one repeater...although we share all costs. We have been on Cudde Cell Cameras for 4-5 yrs. I believe their warranty is 2 yrs. The nite pic's are okay to look at but unless it is near daylight, I agree they are useless to make hunting decisions based on them. The one real improvement we made this year was to purchase some solar panels. They offer an upgrade panel that works in partial shade and it works VERY WELL, to the extent that we have not put any new batteries in numerous cameras. Good info Mark. I've had Cuddeback cameras (3) for a year after a neighbor recommended them and they work great. I wish the app did a little more but the cameras work as they should and that's the important thing. My cuddelink cameras all have the solar panels and in 8 months I haven't had to change any batteries, it's great! I also agree on nighttime pics and disregard pics if more than an hour after dark or before daylight.

If you want to save on the cell bill go with the Cuddy Home instead of the cell. I have a set up just like yours living on property the remote cameras will send the pics to the home with a sd card. All I do is remove sd card from home and check on my laptop, by the way the home unit is right in the windowsill next to my bed plugged right into the wall also saving on batteries. I have been running rechargeable 12 volt with solar on my remotes but found the batteries only last a year or two. Changed over to a walmart car starter battery cheap 27 dollars and recharge after season and store inside they last much longer and cost the same. Great job on vids!

Totally agree with the CuddeLink system…. 17 cameras and repeaters most with solar…. 3 years and going strong…. Lost a repeater to a lightning strike and a camera that got stomped by a cow…. Rest are all still working… couple of the solar panels died but that’s an easy fix and still saves money compared to batteries…. Couldn’t disagree more on your take on nighttime pics…. Actually knowing what areas certain deer are in is huge when it comes to serious hunting. It’s also amazing to see movement especially during the rut…. Some bucks travel literally miles per night. We see the same deer on 4 to 5 cameras per night sometimes. Perhaps your property is small and location isn’t that important but on larger properties it’s like real estate… location, location, location… imho. If we all agreed on everything think how boring life would be!!! Good hunting!

Good video Mark! You are 100% correct on night time pics!! The only thing it tells you is there are big buck in the aera & they are passing through at night! On pics. of deer that 8 point I shot on Nov 4, I've got pics of him at 308pm. Two hours before I shot him on the west side our 80 acers, I was on the north central prat hunting. It cool that I got pics to go with the mount! P.S. I didn't tell you I shot him with a G5 broadhead, Good Stuff!!!

I agree with your opinion of the Bushnell cell cameras. I traded out my older Agressor cameras for the Cell Core cameras when they offered the trade in. I have 10 of the Cell Core cameras but only 5-6 work correctly. I run lithium batteries in them all, but some of them still do not work. I’m going to be sending them back. As far as settings, there are more to choose from on the computer based app than there are on the mobile app. For clear night time photos, I have the image resolution set on high and flash mode set to long range. Again, these can be set through the computer app.

Enjoy the conversation. This is the first year we’ve used cell-cams, and I’m hooked. We used another brand, and they seem pretty reliable. I like your thoughts on nighttime buck pics. We need to see them in the daytime. I do see a lot of feral hogs in my food plots at night and the pics just raise my blood pressure! I haven’t been as disciplined about staying off the property after Labor Day, but you have me thinking. I plant fall plots in early October, but maybe I should work to make the deer more comfortable. Hmmm.

Right on Mark i tried the Bushnell and Tasco camera's also around 15 year's ago and the water kept going in them so I've switched to wildgame enavation and they are none cell they are fantastic day and nigh. And the night pictures i agree with you they just get your hopes up i call them fake deer 🦌 😉 don't get me wrong some of tour locals bucks might be on a hot date one night and cruise by your camera but the day time pics are where its at 👍

Great video ark, I too have cuddyback for approximately 5 years now. I heard this year the reveals take much beter pix but 5 to 7 dollars per camera cell plan . Thats where cuddy has the market on their reasonable cell plan. Facebook has a cuddybaak group Im in very helpfull. Thinking of replacing lenses next year to help with night pix. When are doing a video on that sorgum... thinking of doing that in a couple years after clover.

What lights are you running to get those quality night photos? The black flash, the IR flash, or the bright flash? Thanks for the update video

Hi Mark. Can you sometime make another detailed video or 2 showing all of your bedding areas, please? I've watched I can't tell you how many videos on here and some say you want to hinge the trees so all the tops meet in the middle and make the beds around the outside, some are just hinging a tree or 2 and clearing a spot under the hinge for the bed, some are saying to hinge the trees outward so inside the hinged area is like a circle and make the beds inside the circle hinged area. Or if you want you can make a trip to Vassar and lend a hand lol. I have a swampy area on my property where the deer bed and this year it's been under water, so my season sucked and on top of that I tried a different seed mix and my food plot also sucked. This was by far my worst year ever. I can fix the food plot issue by going back to green cover seed which I'm going to do but I really need a couple bedding areas in case the swamp is under water again.

I have 2 Bushnell cellucore 20 cameras and they beat all my other cameras on picture quality and battery life. I also have 3 exodus renders and one Tactacam reveal x pro. For a clearances price camera I got for 60 bucks at fleet farm I wish I woulda bought them all
