After the race season kicked off at Newton’s World Cup we migrated up north to the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia for the 2nd stop of the Australia-Asia tour for Tame the Taipan WQS event!!
Known for being a super steep and gnarly course and organized by downhill legend Adam Yates, this event definitely didn’t disappoint!!
First day of practice started with a bit of rain which made things interesting, but the downhill Gods made sure to send some sunshine over the weekend so all the riders could have their best chances at taming the Taipan!!
Our young gun Nick Broms absolutely smashed the hill and the competition taking home the WIN in Opens and Juniors with a commanding lead!! And we couldn’t have been more stoked to see that going down!!!
