If WWE had fired randy when he had personal and attitude issues, the landscape would be a lot different. I think him speaking up about riddle is coming from that mentality.

It's a shame that Djjak is leaving. He put on some of the best Matches in NXT this Year. Drafting him to RAW and not using him is a Crime. The Fans shouting "YOU DESERVE IT!'" is so bitter in hindsight.

@@thefirst48gaming2so as long as someone likes you, even if the things you do put people's lives in danger consistently, that's okay? The most Matt riddle did was piss people off with some comments while Jeff Hardy has consistently gotten dangerously inebriated and driven a motor vehicle. Sometimes without a valid license. The only way people are going to accept Jeff has a problem apparently is when he actually kills someone like Sunny did.

@@MrMario-tc8slI've spent 23 years around addicts, from birth to now, and from personal experience, you can tell when someone is actually trying to make that change. It's why Jeff left WWE this past time around, he was actively trying not to relapse and nobody believed in him. People try to cite that house show where he hopped the barricade as "proof of him drinking/taking something before his match" and those people legitimately have NO fucking idea what they're talking about. If he was drunk or high, he'd have finished the match. Look at fuckin Victory Road 2011, bro couldn't even stand but he still went out there.

Man, I loved Dijak’s original run on NXT when he had the whole one-upmanship thing going with Keith Lee. I felt he was going places. The whole Retribution thing was a tragic waste of his talent, but I have to be honest… I haven’t really connected with him since he’s returned to NXT. Something about his character has felt off. It’s like they were trying to make him edgier, and cooler, but actually he felt far more threatening in his first run.

@@brad2881 The developmental stars are the Main Roster stars of the future. It hurts to see huge NXT talents being buried on the MR, just because creative doesn't give them enough time to showcase their skills. NXT is perfect for it. Shawn gives everyone enough time to prove himself. The brand is also amazing at developing storylines and characters, see the vid during which Ilja was dropped off by Tony on the side of the road. That was pure cinema. People seeing those NXT call-ups on the MR just don't get a real impression of them, as they just don't receive the chance and there's nothing the wrestlers can do about it. PS: Baron Corbin is a great example. He managed to rejuvenate his career down in NXT and has just been amazing, also with Breakker as his teammate as the "Wolf Dogs". On the MR there's no trace of that Corbin whatsoever. That's just one example. The MR is just horrible at giving NXT talents a chance and just burn most of 'em.

@@Warrioruk as much as NXT is there to develop stars it is equally there to develop the forever midcard/jobbers of tomorrow. An extremely small portion of NXT will ever be the former. If AEW can line up this signing and Keith Lee's return from injury, they will have the best thing on their hands. I still see Keith vs Swerve in the future but I'm thinking Dijak costs Keith in that match. Boom, you've got an immediate banger with a story that's gone across different promotions.

I knew as soon as the last round of layoffs hit that Dyjak was next. He was a good wrestler but didn’t fit in to modern WWE. I’m sure he’ll land on his feet and be very successful outside of it though.

It's for the best, I didn't see him recovering on the main roster after the awful T-Bar Retribution fiasco. He should go to TNA he will be featured there, avoid AEW due to their huge roster bloat.
