Once again . . . it's A MONOGRAM PICTURE! There is just something about these Poverty Row productions that makes them special and interesting. And Bela's presence is the cherry placed atop le gâteau exquis.

Beautiful Lotus Long as Moonflower at 4:00 ! She was in several Wong/Motto mysteries during the 1930s. Thanks CCC !

You can always depend on Bela Lugosi to turn in a solid performance and Mr. Wong is no exception. Monogram was a low budget studio but they sure made some entertaining, well paced movies.
