Great interview!! As an Indian I Can attest to what brother says. Thankful for God's mercy who redeemed my family from darkness and showed us the light of Christ. My great great grandfather was the first to convert to Christianity from Hinduism.

My husband is from India and I’ve been a few times as well. What he says is all true. I’d also add, to the preference of boys over girls, my sister in law was not allowed to have an ultrasound during her pregnancy to reveal gender (just 9 years ago). Apparently it’s illegal to tell the gender of the baby prior to birth because of mass abortions of girls. I was shocked when I learned that. I was told it comes from the dowry system where girls were looked at as a financial burden on the families. 😔 Pray for India! 🙏🏻 🇮🇳

I went to Nepal twenty years ago. He’s correct… if you go with an objective lens you see the demonization, chaos, fear, misery, and lack of joy. The people are lovely, the oppression is thick.

Before Jesus saved me out of Eastern Spirituality I was convinced that Hinduism was not only peaceful but spiritually " innocent ". Hinduism is rife with blackmagic, the gods are not lofty beings as I once thought. Not only that, but they worship anything from demons to devas or gods. I also dabbled in African religion, which was one of the biggest mistakes I ever made, and these teachings are very similar to Hinduism. In fact, pagan gods all have similarities, whether ancient Greek, Hinduism or voudoo it does not matter. Hinduism itself is not as old as people think, the religion is just an amalgamation of different beliefs through out the land. So when people say Hinduism is the oldest religion, it is no different than saying animism or spirit worship is the oldest religion. People have always done these things, worshiping God was the minority in ancient times so it was less prevalent but it does not mean it was not around.

India has fascinated me for some time. I've never been there, so my experience has only been through watching videos and learning what I can. Everything he's saying here is what I've seen as well. It seems like such a spiritually dark place. My heart breaks for these people. I'm sure you can *feel* the demonic oppression. I can feel it just when I'm seeing these people on video. One of the most horrifying things I've seen was videos of Varanasi and people bathing in the Ganges. Westerners see this & glorify it like it's something holy. But when you see it, even just on video, it's filthy! The poverty, dead bodies, filth, and spiritual darkness must be overwhelming.

As a follower of Jesus years ago i looked at a transcendental meditation website on my phone. It displayed a diagram of a human body with the diff chakra points. The site claimed there is different lights in the world. As i looked i peeped open a doorway an evil spirit spoke to me in that moment- ‘There is more than one light in the world.’ That spirit sounded like a serpent. I closed the site and opened my bible quick to John 8:12 I am the light of the world. Who ever follows me will never walk in darkness but have the light of life.’ Passage comforted me because it was the truth. The evil spirit left just as quick as it appeared. I was studying occult practices in an unsafe manner! Never again!

Not many people talk about how much of India's problems can be traced directly back to their Hindu beliefs. I had a woman tell me all religions believe in some form of the 2nd greatest commandment and I used Hinduism and Islam to refute that. Not that she changed her mind...

What Daniel is doing for the Lord is nothing short of brave. Open air preaching in the US in my opinion is no where near as dangerous as doing it in other countries. Take note my fellow Americans.

I've seen some teachings illustrating the connections between the scriptures, vetas, and Greek mythology. If these myths are true, what an illustration to why there was a flood judgement. Enoch sheds a lot of light on this idea too, despite not being inspired. You can reconcile the truth of other religious writings using the scriptures as a foundation.

The maintenance of Latin is not directly analogous to Sanskrit as a magic language. A) it’s 1 of three langue on the sign on Christ’s Cross. 2) it’s a dead language; it’s meaning and wording are constant despite vernacular change. 3) Koine Greek and Aramaic are still used in other Catholic rites as a tie back to the original centers of the Church. Copts still use Coptic liturgy too.

Actually this man just gave false info about the cast system based on old British scholarship to justify their invasion. Hinduism equates to fatalism. What will be will be so no need to help those in need. It destroys all hope for improvement of either oneself or family. It must be a truly depressing state for the lower castes. Against this Christianity brings life, hope, freedom and value to all life.

As am Indian i can testify that hindus do try to absorb other religions. i met this hindu who said she worshipped Jesus which made absolutely no sense but she was convinced she could fit Christ into her polytheistic worldview . She struggled to wrap her head around the fact that you either worship Christ ALONE or you dont worship Him at all.

Meditation in it's self is not a bad thing there is a lot of evidence in medical community it can be helpful It is not the idea of meditation that is bad it what are you focusing on when you meditate.

@17 He's right about Gandhi, but Gandhi didn't make the word Ahimsa. The word is already in the texts. He misinterpreted it. Ahimsa means less violence. If you can find the path of less violence, go for it. But, you may not. And, the scriptures show lots of violence. Gandhi completely misinterpreted to mean NO violence. His idea was to gain support from the west, which is grounded in the 'turn the other cheek mentality.' Folks then and now called out his translation of the Bhagavad Gita, with this word, as wrong. The catch-22. In the west we like Gandhi. We didn't know he was wrong. While how many Americans read Gujurati or Hindi or whatever native tongue to read the newspapers or publications arguing against Gandhi and correcting him? Very few, or at least few that were big voices in American culture. So, his definition has become the norm and today you see Neo-Hinduis pushing NO VIOLENCE as the authoritative Hindu approach. Its not. If they read scripture they would know this. They don't. Much like many American Christians don't read the Bible, Hindus don't read their books.

Hinduism is a modern invention that is a fusion of Sanatana Dharma, theosophy, and the unitarian church. Its a modern thing that has more in common with new age stuff than the Vedic texts it takes pride in. It is a very important distinction. I mean, if you deliberately want to be ignorant and spread misinformation to show how Christianity is better that's an interesting position to take. Is that a biblical position you're taking? No, I think that's a quote more likely to come from Al Capone. @10 the question is asked how India retained its Hinduism during conquering. Hinduism didn't exist, so the question is literally asking how it retained a religion that hadn't come into existence yet. That's sorta impossible. That would be like asking someone today in 2023 how they support the 2153 candidate for president during all his traumas. Can't be answered. The fact your guest didn't correct you shows he is clueless.

Being an Indian, and not a Hindu, I must say there is danger in biased reports. All Hindus do not believe and behave the same way. The geography matters a lot! I understand you are looking thru Christian missionary lense, but that should not be a reason in praising only Christians and not seeing how Indians also contributed to changes and good works. For example, sati was not abolished just because of a Christian missionary. There were Hindu reformers who had nothing to do.with Christianity, worked their whole life against it. The cards were stacked up against them coz British authorities wouldn't listen to Indian brown skinned reformer, but they listened to a 'white' missionary. If you talk about history, you should study in context, remove the Christian biased lense please.
