Thank you for addressing step grand parenting. I have 2 step grandchildren. I think my expectations were a little high. I so want a relationship with them. I will continue to love them and use the 5 P’s. That is so helpful!!

I seem to be happier accepting that they don’t see me as “real” grandma. Something more distant. Their mother expects me to do for them even though we are not on particularly friendly terms. I think I resent the work with none of the rewards!

This is a great series. But there should be a specific section about case scenario with adults children 20+; marriage is the priority children are temporary assignments;

It is so hard to read or hear about adult children in remarriage. No body expects them to make problems but they do. Really resent change.

Why is Ron constantly referring to the difficulty from the stand point of the father and his children??? Why not focus on this as a whole …. The bride of this man is equally a parent to her children and their adjustments - it’s not just the Groom and his children being affected
