In August 2005, elderly Daisy Fuller is on her deathbed in a New Orleans hospital as Hurricane Katrina approaches. She starts rambling to her daughter, Caroline, about a train station built in 1918 and Mr. Gateau, the best clockmaker in all of the South, who was hired to make a clock for it. Mr. Gateau was blind, and lost his son in World War I, which crushed him, but he continued to labor over his clock. When it was unveiled at the station, the public was surprised to see that the clock ran backwards, to which Mr. Gateau says he made it that way so that the boys they lost in the war could come back again and live their lives that were ended too soon. After that, Mr. Gateau was never seen again, and people speculated he died of a broken heart or went out to sea.
Daisy then asks Caroline to read aloud from the diary of Benjamin Button.
From the reading, it is revealed that on the evening of November 11, 1918, a boy was born with the appearance and physical maladies of an elderly man. The baby's mother died after giving birth, and the father, Thomas Button, abandons the infant on the porch of a nursing home. Queenie and Mr. "Tizzy" Weathers, workers at the nursing home, find the baby, and Queenie decides to care for him as her own.
Benjamin learns to walk in 1925, after which he uses crutches in place of a wheelchair. On Thanksgiving 1930, Benjamin meets seven-year-old Daisy, whose grandmother lives in the nursing home. He and Daisy become good friends. Later, he accepts work on a tugboat captained by Mike Clark. Benjamin also meets Thomas Button, who does not reveal that he is Benjamin's father. In Autumn 1936, Benjamin leaves New Orleans for a long-term work engagement with the tugboat crew; Daisy later is accepted into a dance company in New York City under choreographer George Balanchine.
In 1941, Benjamin is in Murmansk, where he begins having an affair with Elizabeth Abbott, wife of the British Trade Minister. That December, Japan attacks Pearl Harbor, thrusting the United States into World War II. Mike volunteers the boat for the U.S. Navy; the crew is assigned to salvage duties. During a patrol, the tugboat finds a sunken U.S. transport and the bodies of many American troops. A Germans.
Benjamin returns to Daisy in 1980. Now married, Daisy introduces him, as a family friend, to her husband and daughter. Daisy admits that he was right to leave; she could not have coped otherwise. She later visits Benjamin at his hotel, where they again share their passion for each other, then part once more.
In 1990, widowed Daisy is contacted by social workers who have found Benjamin-now physically a pre-teen. When she arrives, they explain that he was living in a condemned building and was taken to the hospital in poor physical condition, and that they found her name in his diary. The bewildered social workers also say he is displaying early signs of dementia.

I personally have a different take from yours. I also wondered why Benjamin rejects Daisy's sexual advances at first. My conjecture was that he was hurt from his relationship with Elizabeth Abbott and thus did not want to move too fast with Daisy, although he cared for her. Also, he had been scorned by Daisy's grandmother before (when Daisy was still a girl and they played under the bed), so that may have further made Benjamin move slower with Daisy. And I also wondered why the director had that man say several time throughout the film how he got hit by the lightning. If I remember correctly, at one point, Benjamin narrates that his surroundings are the same. It is he who changes. So maybe the man was there to show that the environment is the same -- the man does not change; throughout the years, he repeats saying how he got hit by a lightning. Or it could be tied to the movie's theme of fate; it was his fate to be hit by a lightning. HOW he could hit by a lightning differs in each of his explanations, but the fact that he got hit by a lightning remains the same. I thought the same with Benjamin's explanation on Daisy's car accident. You said in your video that he is putting the blame on everyone else and not the actual person who didn't look twice before crossing the street. I thought Benjamin was trying to point out that it was fate; it could have worked out differently had the circumstances unfolded differently, but it did not. I am not saying that my opinion is right and yours is wrong. I just wanted to share it because it is different from yours, and I enjoyed listening to your take on the movie. It was quite interesting :)

Thanks for your thoughtful response, it's true that he puts alot of emphasis in fate, but I don't believe in fate in the same way he does, and it seems like you do which is great, life is filled with perspectives and that is what makes art of any form so complex, thanks for sharing your thoughts, I would love if you could take a look at my latest videos and tell me if you liked them or if you see any improvement, thanks and have a wonderful rest of the day :)

It was my impression that he did not sleep with her the first night because she was too young and silly, wanting to just fuck rather than make love. He always loved her and was playing the long game so he wanted to wait till they could both take it seriously.

The overall message that we must take away from this movie is time. We all know we cannot control what happens to us but we can control how we react. And because we are given one life, or one chance, we must try our best and make the right decision. In the beginning of the movie the dad makes a clock which goes in the opposite directions. This proves that we all wish we could go back in time. This message is also shown when Benjamin analyzes Daisy's car accident. To make a long story short, during our time period, we must try our best and make the right decisions. People come and they go. Death is inevitable.

what is the meaning of leg and walking issues in the movie? Benjamin started out in a wheelchair and then used crutches. His own father ended up using a crutch. His love interest had to learn to walk again. There were scenes that mirrored each other about this. Benjamin in the tub while his mother straightens his leg to help with mobility. Later Daisy is seen with their physiotherapist friend, straightening her leg in the same fashion.

I believe that represents the idea of learning to walk is like learning to start again. No matter the age, young or old, they are mirrored. Being born old or young, truly isn't that different, and it really how you view it. They meet in the middle because in the end they are same. Age isn't real its a matter of your experiences.

I don't think it's the legs itself so much as the effects of aging. Benjamin was born with those afflictions and as he grew stronger the people around him grew weaker so they essentially traded places (shown by the legs)

To me, the biggest mistakes Benjamin made, were not getting into a relationship with Daisy earlier, and then abandoning them too early. He wasted so much time he could've spent with the woman he loved, and it was heartbreaking for me to watch.

I can't agree. I think they started their relationship when they had to. Maybe in París but no, Daisy did not love herself so it would had been a very difficult relationship. The first night in NO when she wants just a one night stand would also be a mistake, a bigger one, because Daisy would not had come back, she would have thought she had already given "them" a chance, she had scratched that itch and her life was her work. Proved by how even after some time in NY she didn't gave proper attention to him (understandibly so, she had a boyfriend).

There are no right or wrong answers of how we truly view this movie and it’s meaning. Some see it simply as a man aging backwards, others see it as a reflection of live and death, others see it as an allegory for destiny and fate. And that’s what makes this movie so great; unlike a lot of films nowadays that have a complicated plot with an even more complicated theme, it has a simple premise (ie a man aging backwards) but also carries a hidden yet deep message depending on who you ask.

A very good point! It seems to me that it also depends on the stage in life you're in when you watch it. The first time I saw it in theater, I must have been around 17. I remember liking the movie but also being confused by it, not really knowing what to make of it. The second time watching it, I must have been around 22 and I mostly took away a warm fuzzy feeling and learned to play Scott Joplin's "Bethena" on the piano. I just watched it yesterday for the third time and at the end ("... and some people dance") I was bawling my eyes out. Being close to thirty now and having seen a lot more death (mostly grandparents, but still), it seems to me that the movie's prominent theme of transience hits a lot closer to home. It's amazing to me that this movie has so much to offer even after multiple viewings.

There is only one thing I would change about the film. I wish the clock stopped running when Benjamin died and not Daisy because the reverse clock signified Benjamin's birth (both 1918) and was also a parallel of him both are running backwards. Benjamin was born to live life in reverse because of that clock that Mr. Gateau created not knowing it would create something unexplainable and would result to Benjamin being born in reverse. It would have made more sense this way.

There are many that tell us that life is purely random, that there is no destiny, no purpose, that love is purely a chemical process. But when you engage with the question "why" more and more, and seek the Designer behind the design, in my experience you find the greatest and the greatest Lover of your soul.

I think you missed the mark when he met up back with Daisy for the first time. It wasn't not wanting her to be close, Daisy had changed, she wasn't the person he knew, you can see it in the reaction to her smoking and hearing about her past partners. At that point he would be unsure if the person he loved was even the same person anymore

Hey, I'm way older and went through that 18-22 year old confusion. I was coming into my teen years when The Beatles, Joni Mitchell, The Doors, Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix were blossoming on the air waves....think about what that means, for a moment. I'm 67 and never had children. Hope for Peace was in the air when I was 18. I've watched avarice take hold of planet Earth. My goal now is to find a quiet homestead at the edge of the city and live with a very few others in a garden that we build, venturing forth, rarely. When people lose respect for each other, you have to get away from them for your rest, while continuing to go back for regular interaction. World fascists are at our throats. So my advice is to do good work, get and hold a job (or jobs) which lets you scrape together a bit of money, and ALWAYS be on the lookout for people who think like you do to bond with. Find a quiet refuge and keep it peaceful and beautiful. Learn to grow lush plants, shade trees, and your own food, and keep your opinions to your OWN special groups of friends. There are enemies of peace lurking in every corner and listening to you. Be cautious and be not confused. We are ALL going through it. Pay special attention to the songs of Joni Mitchell of Canada.

I am 17 years old. I have been confronted with the idea of death many years ago and have been able to accept it. Well, my own death atleast. I am going to die. There is nothing I can do about that and I have accepted that. Losing people I love in my life will be something much different. I'm not gonna be ready for it, but I know that I can take it and hopefully move on. It is comforting to know that I will be able to be ready to die when my time comes. I'm of course not ready yet. But that's the comforting part. I have so much time before I even need to worry about it and when the time comes, i'll be ready for it. This is basically the way I cope with death. Just wanted to share it

Beautiful point that the movie makes is at the end. Benjamin's "some people" speech is wonderful scene, but the statement that some people dance is the biggest meaning (now I don't have other word for it) of life. Just dance through it. Other people in his life he describes with their life roles, or their skills. But Daisy dances, but not just dances physically (also because she cannot do that after the accident), but by her approach to life. I may be wrong with this, but all the people in his speech are just looking at him, fullfilling the part they did in his life. But she just dances and not looking at him, minding her own bussiness, minding her own life.

My look on it is The most ordinary things made his life so beautiful . His first time with a woman . Staying up late with daisy to read . First time getting drunk . Getting his first job so happy he didn’t care if he got paid or not . Taking his dad to watch the morning start , like he was the only one in the world again as he did as a kid right before his passing . Going to war . Gaining friends ( that one short man with the tall lady , the lady who played piano who always dresses up even to stay in and if she got no visits , staying up late at night to talk to that lady and drink tea and having a little whimsical love for a moment in time saying “ I enjoyed my time with you “ , The time before tv when people love to see Plays , ballets and music was the main entertainment, people dancing , sharing cigars and beers , moving into a house with no furniture but being filled with love so that’s all that matters . Opening up a dance studio to do what u love to empower u even in your Handicapish state , All this things are so simple but beautiful poetic . How much his mom loved him and always welcomed him back home , and just the good nature of the mother herself how he said “ some people are mothers “ and that might be all they are but that in itself is wonderful and special. The sailor man who sailed eveyday but he still deemed himself and artist and he was with the way he spoke of himself and the story of his adventures he liked to tell .

I completely agree that this is one of those movies that leave a lasting impact on you. I have been thinking and ruminating about it, quite obsessively, since seeing it last night. I only saw this movie for the first time recently because it was free on KZfaq Movies, so I am not really at the greatest of liberties to say what all the meaning behind it is. But my main takeaway was to let go and not stress over what happened to you in the past, because the end result is always going to be the same. I am not saying Benjamin was not a sentimental person. The audience does not necessarily know what is going through his head at all times, and there were moments in the film such as the part where he and Daisy are in the diner and he sees the news report about Elizabeth swimming the English channel where his nostalgia shines through, but this does not mean he is longing to be back with Elizabeth - rather he is happy for her and accepts that both of them have moved on. One might also argue that the fact he loved sailing so much is because he was holding onto his time serving on the Chelsea with Captain Mike. But his primary mode seemed to be a focus on moving forward with what "fate" had carried into his life. He could have let his sentimentality get the best of him and stayed with Daisy and Caroline, but he let go of that life because he felt it was best for everyone. But at the same time he did not completely let go. He kept writing his daughter and even ended up visiting Daisy one more time. So I don't know. Maybe one of the things the movie is trying to tell us is to at least hold on to some of our past, or at least enough to help heal certain wounds, have good memories, or recall life lessons and learned skills. But do not dwell on the past so much that is causes your destruction. And perhaps this attempt to salvage the past is what caused Daisy's demise? I believe Benjamin is supposed to have died roughly around 2003 or so. Consider how old Daisy looked at that part of the movie. She was old, sure, but in the scenes set in 2005 during Hurricane Katrina, she seems to have aged a lot in just 1-2 years. Maybe it was the strain of having to look after Benjamin in those final years that really withered her as well. The doctor claims Benjamin has symptoms of dementia, and I have heard it said that taking care of a partner with the disease typically takes an equal toll on the caretaker, so I think the final 10 minutes or so of the movie provided a bit of an allegory for dementia. One might also say that the "sin" of living in the past (the clockmaker designing his clock to tick backward because he was pining for his lost son) is what cursed Benjamin to live a life of "pain" in the first place. It was not his fault, but the damage of living in the past had been done. And that leaves me with another question; Was Benjamin supposed to be the reincarnation of his son? Who knows. Ultimately though, I still stand by what I initially said about the themes of letting go. The most powerful quote in the movie, for me anyway, was Captain Mike's "Mad as a mad dog" line. Benjamin could have been mad about a lot of things in the movie, but instead he let go and kept moving forward, only letting parts of his past in where it made sense.

In my view it was an interesting look at mortality. Benjamin was in a unique position to view it all. He lived out his years of arthritis, aches and pains at a young age, being able to mingle with older people who have death lurking at their doors because their days are numbered by now. He also saw Daisy grow up and children playing. He saw death all around him with the elders he identified with even as a child. Later on Daisy and Benjamin switch places on the scales. He now watches Daisy grow older, weaker, losing time as the days go by, he also sees his lover at 68 accomplish something she and many others would have seen as impossible at her age showing that time and age alone doesn't dictate your abilities. Then as he got more experience he got younger, fitter, able to move like a man in his prime while he was still forced to watch those around him grow into the aches and pains of his early childhood and closer to death everyday. He was able to get the max out of his youth and experience but at the cost of always being out of place, too young with the problems of the old (the grandmother not letting him play with Daisy) or too old with the problems of the young (Daisy saying her body is too old to be with him now and he is reversing in age so he can't take care of his daughter) Loved this movie but I will say it was longer than necessary in my opinion

We most want to go back in time because of what we know today. Question is, if we could go back in time, change the choices we made with the knowledge we have today, and then, by the time we get to today’s present, would we want to go back in time again to change those choices? My guess is yes, because regardless of age, during our timeline we acquire knowledge than constantly affects us. So, the forward timeline is pure beauty, it allows us to adapt and make new choices every day. Downside? One day we will all be gone.

Just watched this movie. Great video and analysis. A few years ago when battling with depression and thinking of suicide I woke up to a bad thunderstorm and had a supernatural event. I was given a choice to live or die (by some unknown entity in the sky, maybe God) and I was allowed to feel the consequences if I chose death. Obviously I chose to live. I struggled with the meaning of storms, thunder, life and death. This movie makes me think that there is some other historic and mysterious connection. The old man in the movie said something like the thunder strikes was God telling him he's lucky to be alive. Hopefully I figure out these meanings one day, I constantly think about it.

I love how you analyzed this movie. I only have different view on one thing. You helped me realize the answer of the horrific accident of Daisy. Here is my view. What happened to Daisy could have not been avoided by anyone but herself. She did dance carelesly on the street ( something we are told as children not to do) so she is only one to blame for "horrific" accident. It really doesnt matter which car would hit her or eaven what sort of accident was supossed to happen to her because of her reckless behaviour. What the point i am trying to tell here is that Daisy at that moment reached a pivited point of summit she thought was her true happiness of life which was to be the best dancer in the world and nothing more . But faith ( or whatever you wanna call it ) showed her the other path. Path she trully struggeled to accept and understand. Path that led her to hapiness she never thought she was suposed to have with her daughter that she clearly never imagined having before the accident. Daisy never regreted getting hit by the car or dancing ever so carelesly on the street what many of us could never forgive ourselvess and accept. And when Daisy accepted her faith of believing and willing to continue and struggle thats when things started to change in her life opening her eyes to true happiness for her. The truth of a matter when i think of it and is hard for me to explain here is the main caracter in story is Daisy not Benjamin. The truth what i think is that Benjamin's condition was actually as an imagined figure that was of a pearson she wanted to explain to her daughter just so she could accept easily the faith of her father that left her. And the reason i am saying this is because Daisy never actually ever talks about sientific examinations of Benjamins condition. Benjamin was her father but very special in a way that he showed Daisy how to open her eyes of living life witouth fear and embrasing it with all of her hearth.

Not being accepted the moment he was born and his own father thinking of him as a monster. Her mother sacrificing her life for him to live and wished his husband to keep him safe, his father who thought of him as a monster and left him helpless in the stairs. A take on life love. A love so unconditional to give your life and a love that is selfish to leave without much care to save oneself.

Queenie accepting Benjamin despite of his condition and believed that he still have the right to live despite of his condition. Reflects faith and motherly instict. Mr. Weathers who couldn't care more for baby Benjamin came to accept his uniqueness. Him being raised in elderly care made him accepting of death for he is surrounded by it. Learning and hearing stories from old people despite not understanding for he has the mind of a child in an old man's body. It shows that sometimes life gives us lessons that we cannot fully understand and are not mentally prepared for.

Life is BOTH an endless series of coincidences and there is a plan & course for each and everything. Everything is unique yet interconnected. Seems like a paradox and yes it is though it is not! Everything is on a determined unpredictable course. Beautiful aye? The first half of your analysis was perfect but then your psychoanalyzing of his upbringing and his recounting of events leading to Daisy's accident are your own projections. Young Benjamin was curious simply because he was getting younger & maturing at the same time. The so-called coincidences were simply to demonstrate how everything is due to countless causes & effects and though we can not be conscious of all the things leading up to a moment, there is always an undercurrent governing everything beyond our understanding. "You Never Know What's Coming For Yah" is quoted many times. Yes, like his father, he abandoned his family but Benjamin is also uniquely aware of his destiny when with his daughter. I feel you kept ignoring this major part of Benjamin's journey by your perceptions. He had to travel and experience life as do all young & healthy people in the prime of their lives. It's Nature! No one can be the age they are not through our mental & physical changing lives. Daisy: "You're right. I couldn't have raised the both of you". He and Daisy could only meet in the middle but were still on different paths. The postcards & diary were deeply moving and significantly emotional devices to tell his beautiful yet lonely story of fate.

Many of us take to and look at things differently. Now after I watched this film I had a very clear understanding of what it would be like to be a parent to a child born with this illness disorder. The baby is born with a condition that makes him look and age like an old age pensioner. Very old when he is born. Face and his body that is. This isn't any normal living life for any baby to be born with. Yes it's just a movie but with a very strong powerful message to many people. I cried tears at this. It's a very great brilliant film to show the world just what it's like for babies born with this disease illness. And yes it's a real disease illness. No parents would never want there baby's born with this. After I watched this film. I've seen on KZfaq many parents who dress there baby's up to look so old. Baby's dressed up to look like old age pensioners. I ask this why and for what reason and cause when in real life there is baby's born with this disease and illness. Babies who are born with the face and body of an old age pensioner. And there is parents dressing there baby's up to look old. Now I don't know what kind of parents would even do such. But in my book that's wrong and wicked and a right disgrace, it shouldn't ever be allowed. It's not even funny when some think it is. For those who dress there babies up to look very old. Go talk to the parents of the children they had with that illness. The parents who had to go through it and there children.. Babies born with it. They don't live longer than early twentys. Some die at age 13. So I don't see anything funny about dressing up babies to look old. People can be so cruel.

Ever wondered, "Who made us?", "Where did we come from?", "Where are we going to go?", "What does this world hold for us?", " Why were we even born?" These are the questions that plague our minds when we're upset. Obviously we were made by someone, we didn't come out from somewhere, even the monkeys that scientists call as our so called "ancestors" had to come from somewhere! Even the microorganisms, the plants, the animals, the mountainous, the sky, the planets, the earth, the galaxies, the black hole & the universe had to come from somewhere!!! WHO CREATED THIS ALL??? There has to be someone who created all these things. And it has to be a super natural being. We call this super natural being as "GOD". Yes, GOD CREATED EVERYTHING THAT EXISTS! Almighty God is the creator & sustainer of the universe. Who is similar to nothing & nothing is comparable to him. God is nothing like a human being or like anything that we can imagine. And he is the only ONE worthy of worship. There is NO picture, statue, photograph, idol, or painting of Almighty God. No one has ever actually seen God(at least not in this lifetime). So this gives us NO right to worship anything/anyone other than him. In the Qur'an, God tells mankind what he is and what he is not. Almighty God says in Qur'an: " Say, he is Allah(God), the one and only" "Allah(God), the eternal the absolute" "He neither begets nor is he born" "And there is none equivalent to him" Qur'an (30:112) These verses are called the touchstone of Theology. So if anyone says 'this is God', you first check it up with these four verses whether actually he is God or not. If it passes the above conditions, then you agree he is Almighty God. But if it does not passes the conditions, then you cannot call him God at all. In order to worship the Almighty, we have to know him well otherwise we may from a distorted concept of him and then go astray. After having belief in God. Now we have to understand why have we been created. Everyone would acknowledge that our body parts, such as, our eyes, ears, brains & hearts have a purpose. Wouldn't it then make sense that the individual, as a whole, also has a purpose? Almighty God, the all wise, did not create us to simply wander aimlessly or to only fulfil our basic instincts & desires. Rather we have a higher purpose - to acknowledge & worship God alone, so that we live upon the guidance of our creator. Almighty God says in Qur'an: "Does man think that he is to be left to wander without an aim?" Qur'an (75:36) In order to convey the purpose of man's existence to humans, God sent many prophets/messengers(peace be upon them all) from amongst the mankind to invite people to his religion. To give good tidings to the believers & to give warning of severe punishment to the non believers. From prophet Adam to Noah, from Abraham to Issac, from Moses to David, from Jesus to Muhammad. All the prophets(peace be upon them all) came with the same message, the message to worship Allah(God) alone & not to worship others besides him. God says in his final revelation: "Surely this Islam is your religion, one religion only, and I am your Lord, therefore serve me" Qur'an(21:92). Almighty God also says: "He(God) has ordained for you of religion what he enjoined upon Noah and that which we have revealed to you,(O Muhammad), and what we enjoined upon Abraham and Moses and Jesus -to establish the religion and not be divided therein. Difficult for those who associate others with Allah(God) is that to which you invite them. Allah(God) chooses for himself whom he wills and guides to himself whoever turns back(to him)" Qur'an (42:13) God says: "Say, 'we believe in God and what he has revealed to us and to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, and their descendants, and what was revealed to Moses, Jesus and the prophets from their Lord, we make no distinction among them and to God we have submitted ourselves." Qur'an (2:136) Hence the purpose of life is to believe in the Almighty God & to worship him alone without associating any partners with him. To believe in all of his prophets(peace be upon them all) and to submit to the commands of God. This life is a test for each individual for the life after death. A day will come when the whole universe will be destroyed and the dead will be resurrected for judgement by God. This day will be the beginning of a life that will never end. This is the DAY OF JUDGEMENT. On that day all people will be rewarded by God according to their beliefs & deeds. Those who die while believing that "There is no true God but Allah(God), and Muhammad is the messenger of God" and are Muslim will be admitted to paradise, forever, as God says, "And those who believe and do good deeds, they are dwellers of paradise, they will dwell therein forever" Qur'an(2:82) But those who die while not believing that "There is no true God but Allah(God), and Muhammad is the messenger of God" or who are not Muslim will be sent to hellfire, as God says, "And whoever seeks a religion other than islam, it will not be accepted from him and he will be one of the losers in the Hereafter. Qur'an(3:85) God also says: "Those who have disbelieved and died in disbelief, the earth full of gold would not be accepted from any of them if it were offered as ransom. They will have a painful punishment, and they will have no helpers" Qur'an (3:91) One may ask, "I think Islam is a good religion, but if I were to convert to islam, my family, my friends, and other people would persecute me and make fun of me. So if I do not convert to Islam, will I enter paradise and be saved from Hellfire?" The answer is what God has said in the preceding verse, "And whoever seeks a religion other than islam, it will not be accepted from him and he will be one of the losers in the hereafter" After having sent the prophet Muhammad(peace be upon him) to call people to Islam, God does not accept adherence to any religion other than islam. Because it is the only true religion of Almighty God. God is our creator & sustainer. He created for us whatever is in the earth. All the blessings and good things we have are from him. So after all this, when someone rejects belief in God, his prophet Muhammad(peace be upon him), or his religion of Islam, it is just that he/she be punished in the hereafter. So this is the truth. The absolute truth from Almighty God. Therefore know that we are here on this planet because the Almighty has created us. It is our responsibility to recognize him, believe in him & obey him. Therefore I invite all of you to Islam. The religion of God. The religion of truth. Learn about it if you are in doubt but do not remain ignorant. For indeed there is a purpose of this life & that purpose is to recognize our creator & worship him alone without joining any partners with him. You deserve to know the truth. So find out the truth of your existence today. Verily, if you sincerely seek the Almighty, he will surely guide you to Him in sha Allah. Peace.

Ill answer your question gladly, our fate is out of our control for the most part. Destiny doesn't exist. For example you can choose your breakfast in the morning. But you cant choose if a meteor will hit you the next. That doesn't mean destiny is real. It means yes theres outcomes in life you wont see coming. Simple as that you dont gotta complicate shit man lol

It’s a basic argument of free will and determinism, but perhaps you’re right I could have simplified it more, thanks for the feedback have an amazing day!

Did you watch this film more than once? You have gotten so much wrong… I don’t see how you can miss dialogue that directly contradicts the things that you were saying in the video. They contradict you in the goddamn film man

There’s a KZfaq or called Lindsay Ellis you should watch her videos and basically copy what she does. It’s a lot of research though and that’s not what you’re putting into the videos that I have seen. Sorry I don’t mean to put down your work or anything but all of the points you make are really skewed and it’s like you didn’t watch the movie at all.

@@brockmeeks1695 I will check her out, and listen man I love some criticism thanks for being so straightforward and polite. Listen would you mind looking at some of my recent videos and see what you think? I think either the one of Gerald's Game or Pan's Labyrinth are a huge improvement over this. Please let me know and thanks for the feedback my man!

Brock Meeks since he cant do it because he has a following, i will say it for him. Go fuck yourself Brock. He doesn’t have to change for anyone. Make your own video/channel and do it your way.

Will M 🤣 fuck you too buddy. If he’s going to do a video on the movie he should watch it and not get basic things about it wrong which he admitted and was nice about. Maybe you didn’t like my tone and I’d apologize but you’re an tool. He doesn’t need to copy Lindsay Ellis, you’re right. He should do some research before making a video though. A “following”? 🤣 like he’d lose that for telling me to fuck off. I think maybe your wife is holding out on you. Talk it out with her man. I’m sure she won’t leave you for your brother like youre so afraid she will. Edit: I see you’re a kid. Carry on being a tard.

This is a shit take. Half of these points ignore the context given in the movie. You're just assigning these traits to Benjamin then grasping at straws to justify them.
