Downhill domination and rumble racing are two I often go back and play. Shox is another fun racing game made by ea big that doesn't get much love.

Dr. Muto, I-Ninja, Zapper: One Wicked Cricket, Haven: Call of the King, Nano Breaker, Genji: Dawn of the Samurai, Sub Rebellion, Firefighter FD 18, are all great hidden gems

I saw a reddit post from a year ago asking for hidden gems and I saw so many popular games being mentioned like Rachet and Clank, Shadow of the Colossus and Katamari Damacy. So glad to actually see hidden gems being said.

Darkwatch on ps2 was as you say, a ripper. An FPS set in the Old West with vampires, Demon's, and other creepies.

man I loved enter the matrix. played that game until the disc wouldn't read. I do remember some bugginess but it didn't detract from my experience much. I just loved the cinematic feeling to the game, it felt so expensive. plus with the live action scenes shot specifically for the game. I remember back then thinking those graphics were hyper-realistic, ah good times.

Dude thanks so much for reminding me of Way of the Samurai. I remember renting it back in the day and having fun with it, but never got around to buying it. As the years went by i would remember playing it and want to get back into it but could never remember what it was called. Searches of ps2 samurai game would just bring up Onimusha and Jade Empire. Finally i can emulate . . . er, legitimatly buy a copy along with a working ps2. Thanks guys

Couldn't agree more with RAD and Chaos Legion. Love both those games. If I had to recommend another it would have to be Shadow of Destiny/Memories (Just realizing how many games love to use "Shadow of" in their titles lol). I'm a sucker for time travel stories and this one does not disappoint with tons of time travel shenanigans with you trying to solve your own murder and I think the game has something like 7 endings so plenty of replay action
