Why is it better then stump bucket, just wondering.

You can plant the machine in one spot angled to one side of the stump and scratch down to find the roots and lift them straight up or pop them up using the bucket cylinder to curl, think of the design of a crowbar popping up a single nail. I do this on at least 2 sides of the stump then it will normally pull up. and since I don’t drive the machine around to pry several times it doesn’t mess the ground up as much. Also I use this for big tree stumps where you actually have to dig a trench around the tree then reach down an lift the stump. The hydraulics have more lifting power than the machine has pushing power. For little shrubs and things like that I just put the teeth on the far side and lift/pry them out real quick but I have removed big stumps that my machine can’t physically lift with my front hoe.

I have not. This was a residential driveway so it won't have heavy trucks crossing it. The triaxle that delivered the stone had a full load and did not damage the pipe when coming into driveway.

@@SchottServices That's good information to know. I've always wondered if a loaded triaxle would in fact damage it or not. As always, great job man!!

The pipe manufacturers have documentation for loading and cover over the pipe to determine what type, size, and wall thickness is required.

@@jvallieres1979 Appreciate that. I've looked into the maximum weight limits given by the manufacturers. A triaxle load of stone is over 65,000 lbs. That's kinda why I was asking.
