Beaver dams are known to mitigate flooding and drought in their aggregate. Fools remove them.

I love how, with this dam, you totally dismantled the entire dam and not just concentrating on the center. I would think that makes the beavers' rebuilding job more difficult. It leaves me wondering how a similar dam would collapse if you took out the outside edges of the dam first. Would the water rushing in around the outside edges be strong enough to erode the center mass and wash it away. Once again, great job!

I love how those channels are carved through the landscape. Something which is very new to me. We don't have that where I'm from; it's just where the water goes naturally. You have a flatter landscape, though.

Seeing how slowly the water level dropped by watching the culvert in the background tells me that there must have been a lot of water on the other side of the culvert also.

I love the moment when you back up and indicate that the dam is about to burst-and of course I love to see the rushing water as you still work tirelessly on the sides of the dam, tidying up the beaver’s work. That was a really good collapse, good job! I also loved the drone shots up close to the culvert pipe, then up over the road to look at it from the other side. Also, from the high shot you could see the wind making the long grass wave like water, excellent! I love it when you end the video with a high altitude drone shot looking off to the horizon, it has a very dramatic effect as it shows the scope and scale of the land you’re working on, and how we are all just smaller parts of a much larger world. Thanks!

Very nice slow motion on this one!! This one collapsed very nicely for doing slow motion on it!! Very awesome!! Also when you were doing the drone footage, you could see the grass in the field rippling in the wind!!! Very nice!!!

I've been thinking about a tool to make your work easier and safer. You could take an earth auger and modify the end to accept a pipe as a t-handle. Also add a loop to tie on a rope. You will want to remove any cutting edges from the auger. You just want the screw part to screw in, not cut a hole. Using the t-handle, screw the auger into the base of the dam, and remove the pipe handle. Attach some sort of winch to the auger and pull that section right out. Use 2 or 3 augers spread across the dam and you could bring the whole thing down at once from the safety of the bank.

Maaaate another epic collapse and great result. Since I’ve been watching you for the last few years, I must say your English is so much better now days. You have collapsing the dams completely mastered now days. If there’s the slightest chance of you being able to do it you always will. Also mate can you give me the name of your other channel coz I’ve been having problems trying to find it and being able to watch anything on there when I have. The water was so clear and the upper camera placement so good that you could see how wide the dam is under the water!!! I think my favourite part of this was that we got to see repeated shots of the collapse from both angles - must've taken a while to edit and just want you to know it is appreciated!!!

Another good video. Strange that you remove these dams, and for some strange reason in my country ( U.K.) Beavers are being reintroduced into these areas. They cause so much damage.
