Cummins Gets Ready For a New Body | 12 Valve International Part 1

4 ай бұрынAfter sitting in a swamp for 15 years, this first gen cummins was revived. Bad rust on the cab and the frame has made this truck a donor for a body swap. A new frame is being shortened for her, and a 1954 International R-110 is being put on her. 12 Valve Cummins Powered International. In this video we teardown the first gen to the frame to prepare it for the body swap.

As someone who owns a very similar truck, Its very sad to see this one die. But It was VERY rusty. rustier then the ones up here In the north. lookin forward to seeing the other truck come to life though.

I really think it will be perty cool putting that old international cab on the new frame are you considering installing that one ton springs and axle on the new frame they looked pretty good shape it would make really heavy duty pulling truck for you good luck with the rest of your build

Normally, you can just give a tractor more rpms to get more torque to lift heavier things
