Sadly on close inspection she is suffering with some corrosion issues, more than standard cruise ships it seems. She comes home to Southampton alot, but I just got off Norwegian Star and her exterior is pretty much immaculate.. But 22yrs old now, but spends more time in port.

Yes had this many times now, that was one of the closest yet, always the same type of bird, looks a little like a skinny seagull, red beak and black on head, right noisy buggers too, as a rule they protect there nests so I move away from area, but this one had attitude for no reason.. Check my latest upload as happened again but a pigeon, only ever had issues with pigeons in Portsmouth Nr Navel Base, I swear they are trained drone killers, but people think I'm joking!!

Looking at there new upcoming ship Queen Anne, she's a style of the past, sadly up close Queen Mary 2 is showing her age, even shortly after dry dock the rust returns way quicker than the normal cruise ships.

Indeed, just looks like Holland America Nieuw Statendam ship just with a red Funnel.. But you would think they would be looking to commission a new Ocean Liner??
