Excellent stuff and grats on the win! Boba Yellow has been my go to for a while now. I took Boba Yellow to a store showdown on Sunday and ended up finishing 2nd. Palpatine Red got me in the finals.

I can't play as much as I'd like to, but my two main decks are Han/Vigilance and Boba/Cunning (just the cards I was able to pull!) and they've both been popping up this week! Glad to see that and congrats on your win!

Tell me more about that Sabine Yellow #2 ranked deck ;) Sounds like straight fire. Prizing was $35 to 9-16 (the cost of entry). They also gave out door prize lightsabers during each round of Swiss. So total of the "1k" was actually $1400.69 cash and 7 Lightsabers in prizing. I do believe the Top 8 KTODers were 26-4 after Swiss with at least 1loss being to each other (You vs. Chrono). I didn't face any of you guys in swiss, not sure if Paul and Ron played each other during Swiss.

I'd be interested in hearing more about the Palp into Blue Vader. From my experience its really rough as Palp, but the deck i play also have a decent amount of 2 and 3 drops and not as many big hitters. Mostly i lost games because i got milled faster then they did

Congrats!! You guay are really good… quick question - you talk about the matchup against Han but what are your thoughts about playing Han green? You never talk about him, is it a good deck selection?

I think han green is a good deck and Han in general was a good choice for the weekend since Boba was less played. If there's an uptick in boba he gets much worse in terms of placement in the meta

Thanks!! I just have a random back my wife got me but it's HUGE. I'd probably not get one so big myself but it's great for traveling. I don't really have a recommendation but I swear by Dakine brand in my non-gaming life and if I had to buy a bag I'd look there for high quality

Hi Bobby! I won a Store showdown this weekend with Boba Yellow. My deck was very similar (obviously with the limited cardpool) except I had Cell Block instead of Swoop and Out rim Headhunter instead of Gamorrean Guards. I also had Tie fighters in the sideboard to help with going wide, and no Jabba in the sideboard. I was wondering how often you felt confiscate helped when siding it in and what you sided it in for. Typically when playing against a traitorous deck I would just hard mulligan for Bohdi (15 turn 1 plays made it safer for me).

Nice showing! My event was open decklists in swiss so part of my decision to have 3 was to scare them off playing them or even having them still in the deck, but against entrenched decks I still wanted them so I always boarded in 2.

I would not personally run this deck without Boba, there's really no 3 drop to replace it with.

@@SWU_KTOD thanks for the reply! I decided to do it without the bobas and got into the top cut in the showdown. Did lose in top 8 game but that’s another story :( However the following day I played another showdown and borrowed two bobas and got into the grand final with it!

So when you sideboard what do you take out? When are you taking out jabba? Lackeys for bossk i guess, jabba vs control and take out guards? Confiscate for no good to me dead? Prob something else against han solo

It can be tough but if you plan to aggro them out you should win more than you lose

Regarding the leader leaving play - it still counts as it says unit - the leader ceases to being a unit.

A leader never leaves play whether it's a unit or a leader so you never get to untap 2 from boba ability if the only thing that dies is a leader.

I have seen it both ways - the leader is not a unit when it is in the leader zone. It becomes a unit , then the unit leaves play - leader unit becomes a leader

@@thomasbooth9071 When a leader is a unit and is destroyed, it returns to the leader zone, it doesn't "leave play." It's in the rules, heh. If Boba said "when a unit is destroyed, ready 2 resources" then you could do it since the leader IS destroyed. It just doesn't "leave play."

I don't know where you have "seen it" both ways but the comprehensive rules specifically state, in multiple places, that leaders never leave play. Even as leader units.
