Lets adress the fact Engel went against Miss Circle, who was with Thavel and Bloomie. He protected Claire without hesitation. Most students are forced to run away from the teachers because they can't fight back, but he tried. Thavel and Bloomie and Circle could've ganged up on him too, for protecting a failing student. Sasha🫶) but after I saw Engel’s reaction when he saw Claire’s dead body he was so sad that he even felt traumatized, depressed and concerned for her. But actually Claire is there protecting Engel even though he can’t see her.
