Oftentimes Larry will use an excuse to get out of a situation, and he'll use all his defenses to get out, or if he is attacking use all that he can to terror that guy... It's interesting the total lack of moral virtue he has. The continuity of his actions is based off of emotions rather than righteousness.

The actor playing the lawyer is a great actor, unless he is not acting. Maybe he is acting without acting. Maybe he read Jason Alexander's book "acting without acting". The guy is so fantastically obnoxious and self centered. I didn't think it was possible, but this guy may actually be more self absorbed than Larry David. This show and the casting are pure genius. Larry reminds me of one of my graduate school roommates.

I for some reason have never seen this show, but from what I have gathered on KZfaq it seems to do an amazing job at blurring the line between everyone's idea of "good people" and "bad people" (or maybe "nice people" and "nasty people") and putting everyone in this sort of gray area.

+Watchmen22 It's a character, bud. The writers accentuate people's bad behaviors and faults in order to make Larry's character have to face obstacles and uncomfortable situations. You're supposed to relate to Larry and the see the world around him as something unfair and just bad timing so that you empathize with him. That being said, I'm sure people like this exist.

I actually find the plot line quite dark. It really convincingly portrays the relationship between accomplished people and some fans. I mean not all fans are like him but some will be so celebrities have to be careful.
