In this short video, we show an entire electric floor heating system installation in a curbless shower. You'll see how we used our Prodeso uncoupling membrane to not only secure the heating wire but to also waterproof the subfloor (with ProBand accessories).

I always just include the shower if im doin the floors with heat. Customers love it and are always surprise. But can honestly say I've never had a customer asked me to do it

Great video. I'm trying to do the same in our shower/bathroom. Did you use a waterproof liner underneath the packed mortor shower base as well?

So for the Prodeso uncoupling membrane, there are actually tape accessories that get adhered over the seams as well as the wedges/corners to make it all waterproof. You can learn more about it here: www.warmlyyours.com/en-US/products/code/TC-MEM-BL-BND-0624

Good video, minimal talking and a lot of hilights. At :41, what have you done so far for the shower base? Guessing packed mortar.

For the packed mortar shower base what was the slope? Did you have to raise up the rest of the floor around it to achieve the curbless effect?

Hi Rob, the slope was 1/4" per foot. Shower was recessed.
