The first thing I always look for when diagnosing death wobble is a steering gear or rack and pinion not securely mounted to the frame for one reason or another. The next thing would be a loose Pittman arm or drag link. For most vehicles this is the issue but it seems like a lot of these newer solid front axle trucks really do have geometry issues like this video talks about.

I’ve 218,000m on my 11, f250, 6.7ps with stock suspension. I have experienced the DEATH WOBBLE numerous times.

Ford is aware of the problem and will fix it at no charge. I’ve personally experienced the death wobble and they fixed it, no questions asked. F250 diesel

So far, I have done nothing to the suspension on my 2016 crew cab long bed F-350. All my 'modifications' have been cosmetic. I have had no death wobble experience whatsoever. I tow a 7k travel trailer for thousands of miles yearly. Stock size tires. Stock everything. I'm hoping if I keep things this way I won't experience any of these problems.

Caster is the answer 👍🏾👍🏾 Even a dodge with bad ball joints will death wobble with stock settings.

Do you get any wobble with leaf spring? Or is it mostly with coil springs?

If I can ask why does my 05 excursion with 4 inch lift and 35 inch tires sway so bad with my 36ft bumper pull trailer? I put new air bags and a anti roll bar on the rear axle. It’s a 4x4.

I installed a Bilstein dual steering stabilizer, and it cured my death wobble on my 2012 F250 6.7 King Ranch. That single stock steering stabilizer is the problem with these 3/4 and up Ford trucks!!!

My son had the wobble issue on his 2017 f350 diesel4x4. After we installed a 1.5 inch leveling block, it hasn't happened since. I can't explain why, it just seemed to work.

#1- if you have a 7.3L, for Gods sake DONT lift it.

So why did the engineers set the camber caster and toe the way they did? Asking not try to be a shithead.
