The Cure Live, performing at Corona Capital Festival 2023. All music licensing belongs to The Cure. Mike Lord on keyboards as a temporary fill in for Roger O'Donnell. Highlights include Charlotte Sometimes (slightly different key arrangement), Plainsong (two keyboards - Perry Bamonte and Mike Lord), and It Can Never Be The Same. The Sound mix is different than most of the 2022/2023 gigs, which gives this show a very unique, special sound.

Adding Burn as a set mainstay was the best decision they ever made. It’s dark enough for the hardcore fans yet well known enough for the general audience and it’s got power.

Se hizo realidad mi sueño de adolescente. Desde que inicia y veo a Robert caminando por todo el escenario de extremo a extremo, como un ritual de dar las gracias a los que estuvimos ahí y de algún modo agradecer a todos los fans por su lealtad. Escuchaba el fantástico sonido de su música en vivo, y se siente uno en un modo irreal. Cada acorde de los instrumentos y cada estrofa que yo traigo en la mente desde aquellos cassettes que ponía en mi grabadora en los 80's, ahora los pude sumar a mis recuerdos reales de vida. Este gran video definitivamente me pondrá ahi, en revivirlo. Gracias The Cure y gracias a Dios porque esa voz en Robert sigue intacta. Viva la buena musica universal!! ❤😊😊

Me voló la cabeza que tocaran Burn y The Walk en vivo. Mi alma se siente en paz por haber estado ahi viendolos y escuchandolos, me hubiera encantado que tocaran alguna cancion del álbum The Cure (2004) pero de todos modos el concierto fue fenomenal de principio a fin y como fan estoy muy agradecido por el show que nos dieron esa noche. The Cure es una de las bandas que siempre he tenido presente en mi vida

Hoy se cumple un mes de el concierto, estaba super cansado de las piernas por haber visto varios artistas ese día... al comenzar la participación de the Cure me dí cuenta porque es una banda tan querida, el sonido de su música transmite algo que no se expresar con palabras, disfrute cada una de las canciones hasta que comenzó a sonar Disintegration... quedé pasmado, hipnotizado, sentí algo que no se puede expresar, el sonido del riff de guitarra me paralizó por completo y seguí toda la canción disfrutando esa melodía como nunca lo había hecho, que día tan memorable!

That version of Alone is simply amazing! Normally Perry would be on guitars, I guess they needed 2 players to replace Roger. The focus on the synths makes it more psychedelic. I also noticed some amazing drum parts I didn’t hear before!

Absolutely wonderful viseo. Definitely one of my favorites. I am surprised at the lack of singing by the crowd. Like on "play for today" I've never NOT heard the crowd singing along.
