I’m having a little experiment with mini size - it’s something I’ve tested out before and I’m coming back to it with some new ideas. I’m Ellie, and I’ve run my own planner shop for a few years now and I’d love to help you get on the right page with your own planner system. In this video, I’ll be sharing some tips on how to make this tiny planner size work for you, plus you can find out how to download the pages I’ve designed, for free on my website. I love my blue mini, which i use as a wallet and running tracker....but now you've got me wanting an ochre one! And new inserts, cause the ones i have from you are several years old

I bought the mini Malden after your first mini video all that time ago- I bought some inserts from you then, too- but I just couldn’t get on with it. I’m a very minimalist person so was disappointed I couldn’t suss it. Love your new Weekly insert designs and looking forward to seeing how they work out!

Same! I'm wondering if it's just a case of figuring out *exactly* what you need from it and making sure you don't try and make it a one-for-everything size. We'll see! I'll do a follow up 🥰

I absolutely love all my minis, i use one every day, its always with me. Everything gets scribbled down and then i use stickers and neat writing 😂 ect in my PW. I use the filofax week on two pages but will definitely be looking in your shop now, think my mini needs dressing up!

Always been a fan of the Mini size for a number of years now. However, finally after 2 years of trying I have managed to purchase a Plotter Mini 5 (Japan) and the quality is amazing much better than Filofax, though much simpler design with no inner pockets or slots in the insides. Had to purchase a pre loved from eBay shipped from the US as Plotter will not ship to the UK directly. Do have some of your kit Ellie and keep up the great work!

Oh I've heard of those just recently - that's interesting! I'll have to have a look and see if I can get one. There's such a poor choice of sizes in the UK if you don't want a Filofax 😫 Thank you 🥰

Haven't watched the video yet (I will!), I got a Filofax mini Saffiano after your first video about the mini malden (you enabler 😁) and use it as my on the go planner, it is so cute and I'm surprised at how much I can get in, I have quite a lot from your shop in her, I actually prefer this size to the pocket now for out and about. My main planner is personal size rings, I like my set up but need to change the cover at regular intervals. Anyway, off to watch now.

I’ve been using the A5 and it’s getting awkward to carry around so I’m thinking of going to the pocket size. Very useful video.

That's a big jump! Have you thought about personal? So much more portable and a good step-down - also, I'd recommend cutting up some pages to size first to see what feels right ☺️

Hi Ellie, I loved this video and have already ordered the new weekly layout, but wanted to ask if you will be doing a printed 2024 ( at least for the rest of this year) monthly calendar (the one that you are showing us) I can see you have an online version to be printed by ourselves but as I do not have a printer I just wondered if a printed version would be available in the shop? I have a question what if I only had pocket sheets and wanted to use them up, any ideas to use them in a M5 planner? It's because I was able to order a m5 cover but money is tight when your Jobless with a 5yr old child. Yes, am looking for a job.

Well the holes are evenly spaced, so that's a good start - you'd just need to trim off the additional hole and make it 105mm rather than 120mm. It would take a bit of trial and error, but it could work!

Love this video, I bought the exact same colour Mini from Amazon this week, so this is brilliant. Your dividers are gorgeous, will they be for sale on your website? Thank you for making some free inserts, that is super kind 😊 Also,, I had been desperately waiting to know if the rings had held up on the ochre one 😁 xxx

I use my mini as my out and about planner/wallet. Only thing is I rarely go out as I work from home lol. Love the dividers !❤

Love the Mini Maldens but as with the pocket Maldens the pen loop just does not work with side tabs even with the ones supplied. They just get totally squashed up, ruined. Ther simply is no space at all when closed. Have Finsbury Mini and no problem with side tabs and the pen there. I don’t know about the Malden Personal. They must realise this when desigining the organiser. I find it very strange. Anyway enjoyed your video.

Exactly! It's very odd - surely they must realise it when making them? I love the design and my personal and A5 Maldens have been brilliant. Maybe the longer clasp will help with this one? I'll do a follow up and I'll definitely be covering this!

Hi I have a question if you could help me out. How do you punch 5 holes from a 6 hole punch.

If it's an adjustable one, you just need to make sure it's lined up carefully - the holes are spaced evenly, so the 6th hole is just an extra one you don't punch... if that makes sense! I use the Rapesco adjustable ones and there's a mark to line them up ☺️
