What an amazing bow, you can feel and see the passion of the bowbuilder in every aspect of this bow.
Their website is right now just in Czech and German, but I guess when the international demand is big enough, they will include English.
Amazing bows for sure

Thanks Armin for the hint. I received the 56" 30# version of this bow today morning and already spent several hours at the archery range. I'm impressed by the build quality and overall services provided with Mr. Kyzl. The bow itself is beautiful and shooting it is a pure joy.

Greetings from Czech Republic - I own 35lbs Curon. I was directly at the manufacture, never shoot before.... and tested several bows. They showed me Curon, which was still not at the production (at their webpage) - and I was able to shoot nice group (really never shoot before). Later I bought Curon and seriously after couple years I am very happy. I shot different bows from Kyzl, but for me Curon feels the best. Just notice - u can define how the arrow rest should look like, when you order the bow :)

I also have Curon, same case, also from Czech rep. I confirm, bow has marveloius look, feel, and shoot. I have a little bit different setup, but Curon is my favourite from my bows, that bow has spirit..;-). Communication with producer is very correct and honest. I recommend personal visit and try several bows of producer, just dangerous, that you could order several ones..;-) .my, with some custome adjustm., wasnt cheap, but I never regret it...

It's a very pretty bow well made and nice curves. The shape grew on me as the video progressed. The handle section reminds me of an English long bow somebody bent around a tree. But I really like it! Reminds me of an Assyrian. Thanks Armin for the great review of a bow we may not see any other way.

Finally, I got my Curon - an outstanding bow with a nice Assyrian design. Mine is 66" long, 37 LBS at 28", and has a super smooth max draw of 34". It is beautifully made, surprisingly lightweight, and a pleasure to shoot. I paid 620 Euro (upgraded with speed carbon) incl shipping in Europe which makes the Curon the most expensive bow I currently own - but for me, this bow is worth every Cent. Furthermore, support and communication with Vladamir Kyzl are great.

Thanks for posting this. I am delighted to see the shape of the tiller because I kept hearing how it was a shame my ends (maybe last 6" or so) were working a bit too much, but I see here this one they work even more. I think people who are unfamiliar with tiller of a true reflex/deflex are imposing a full recurve tiller opinion upon my reflex/deflex bow (if there is even a standard as to how longbow it is vs. how recurve it is)

Sweet, I do not have any experience shooting a deflex/reflex but in theory and from what I have come across: There was a Bow builder that has built bows from his Teens. He Reached Age 70 and started having problem drawing his 55 # Hunting Bow & quit Hunting Large Game. Started exp. with Deflex/Reflex and what he found out even though The new Bow he built with a 40#'s was a high efficient Bow and the speed of the Bow Exceeded his old hunting bow. So he is able to Hunt again using his Same Hunting Arrows from his older 55# at Higher Speed Providing the Same Penetration. After all you do Not go Hunting only to Wound an Animal & have the Animal Linger, That would be Cruel. Way to go Curon!!! Very nice Bow! And No Arrow Shelf, Sweet!!

Oops bows I presume. Seen some speed test at 30# draw wieght with if I remember rt. 9 grain per pound like 200-210 fps. He also mentioned something about internal syaihs, then left you hanging without explaining( trade secret I presume). These bows can be purchased through Dave Mead, exceptional bowyer from the US he has a new design laminated horse bow out based on the same theory. Light poundage fast bows. Sorry I'm a bow junkie!!!!!

No problem Oopa bows all had shelves that I seen but I think Dave Meads laminated horse I think was available without a shelf. What I did notice though was that the kassan area of Dave's bow resembled the tips on the Oopa long bow. Another commenality between the 2 was what I thought where extremely narrow but marginally thicker limb section than most bows we see in the Asiatic style. Dave's looks like it could be a nice bow for thumb realease. Dave makes a couple types of composite bows which are worth a look at if you like the primitive look and feel draw lengths are tops 28 or 29" though with most being a little less comfortably. To short of draw for me! There I go bow junkie rambling! Have a good evening my friend!

But, with age and shoulder surgery I can no longer draw my heavier bows. I’ve been practicing the thumb release with inexpensive lighter bows and have been looking for a nice light bow. This Curon bow looks like an excellent choice. Please, consider me in your giveaway. Rik

I'm very interested in the Curon but it seems expensive for my first bow. Any chance you could do a review in the future of Kyzl's TINIKY beginner bow or smaller/cheaper Curon models? The 25lb Tiniky seems like it would be a good option for an beginner adult around 5'8" like me and it's only about 1/3rd the price. Also would love to see you review any other bows by Kyzl.

Hey Dave - this bow has black roving fiberglass on top (back&belly; eventually you can have transparent fiberglass with design wood layer of your choice), thin layers of torsion carbon under the fiberglass (back&belly; reduces twisting) and the limb core is made by layers of bubinga wood (reduces stacking, which means bubinga is great for longer draws). Hope it helps... I had the opportunity to test this bow before shipping it to Armin and I agree with all compliments.

@@tomasbruha2514 Thank you. A composite of composites! I have a fender bass guitar with a rare laminated wood / carbon neck and it is as true as it was in 1988! The tapered sides of this bow are a cool feature. This makes sense - less to compress on the inside.

Armin just a question on your arrow release. Are you checking the arrow squadrons? I am asking because some of the arrow has the squadron in way that it must hit the body of the bow... And what I know from people who were teaching me something about the shooting this will damage the arrow and it's having an effect on the flight path. So why you place the arrow on the bow in that way?

@@ArminHirmer Thanks for the reply. I'm looking for my first bow. I like to buy something reasonable at the start of a new hobby, otherwise I tend to drift away from it. 350 is probably a little expensive, 560 definitely is! 👍

@@casperme6552 Any cheap practice take-down bow (100 EUR) to learn the technique and get some strength. After a year or two you will go for your 2nd bow.

This guy could get so much work as an extra in medieval films like Braveheart or Lord of the Rings or Robin Hood or Game of Thrones etc etc... He just has that evil British medieval thug look! (in a good way... 😛)
